Villa Mallandrino — Hotel in Palermo

I highly advise against this accommodation. We were there as a couple and stayed for 5 nights. Our apartment Ponto wasn’t soundproofed, you could hear a needle drop, and on top that there were very loud tenants with children And others drunken arriving in the middle of the night. Besides that, the bed was horribly uncomfortable. Due to all of that, we had a bad time sleeping during our stay. There was a bad smell in the apartment when we arrived; especially in the bathroom. All in all the furniture and the bathroom were extremely worn out. Apartment was not very clean as well. There was a kitchenette, but the only possibility to seat and eat was a small table next to the bed….in our opinion not the best place to eat. On top of that, communication with Nicoletta was unsatisfying. Either her responds were delayed or never...

We stayed in the apartment with family in December 2023. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a plague of mosquitoes. The nights in particular were terrible - we caught around 50 mosquitoes within 5 days!!! The frustrating thing was that you couldn't quite understand where all the mosquitoes were coming from because we kept the doors and windows closed. I suspect they were hiding behind the beams on the high ceiling. In any case, even a week after our stay, our children's faces and hands were marked by extremely itchy mosquito bites. A most inviting and relaxing place. Despite 4 of us, it never felt crowded. Perhaps it was the airiness of the place and the proximity of the beach directly in front of our windows. Beautiful, clean, comfortable and welcoming. Everything is so close. Wonderful places to eat nearby, beaches right in front of the Vila and a running path that keeps those legs fit. Don’t forget the outdoor cafe right on the waterfront opposite the Villa. Be early as the barista finishes at 330 each afternoon! Lovely...
