I never write anything negative about restaurateurs but this behavior at Michele Simpaty Mucera cannot go unnoticed. I have been at Simpaty's restaurant in Mondello before. I will preface this by saying that I am a customer of Antonio’s, their son, who has a wine shop in Via Partanna Mondello, a very polite guy and friend, he has known me my whole life, I will add that the waiters are fantastic and precise. I ordered a very simple dish of spaghetti with veracious clams that arrived very salty and the clams chewy. I took the dish back to the kitchen without making a fuss in front of everyone, asking if she could remake it. The Chef, a "lady," shouted back at me, saying: “I should never order pasta with clams again, because it is not a dish for me! I have always ordered pasta with clams in different seafood restaurants, which I have always eaten with great pleasure and it has never been so tasteless and salty!!! My partner left his pasta (salty as well) and we left with an empty stomach. We paid 50€ for wine and bread with much shouting and arrogance. Although the service was a bit slow, this was appreciated as it gave us time to sit, relax and enjoy the sun, the sea and the Mondello hills. The starters were excellent, amongst the best caponata I have tried to date. The real winner, however was the pasta, in particular the linguine a lastice. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was gloriously amalgamated to it. Sincerely recommended. Of course the price is not very cheap, but this is also a good sign that the fish is of...

I recently had the opportunity to dine at a seafood restaurant that caught my attention with its enticing display of fresh fish in a glass showcase. It was a pleasure to see the ingredients for my meal being presented so visibly, as it added an element of transparency and quality assurance to the dining experience.
Upon being seated, I decided to inquire about the weight of the fish I intended to order. The staff members were attentive and promptly provided me with the information I needed. However, the restaurant's location on a busy road posed a minor inconvenience. The noise from passing traffic occasionally disrupted the otherwise peaceful setting.
The revisited Sicilian cassata at this restaurant was...
