Liv'in — Hotel in Rome

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Vibel during our 10-day vacation in Rome. The hotel is cozy, comfortable and very clean. The inside design of the Hotel is very original, we liked it a lot. Good coffee and breakfast. Our room was cleaned every day, towels and bed-linings changed regularly. We appreciated that! All the staff members were super sweet and friendly. And the general atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again. We also liked that it was located a bit outside of the city center in a neighborhood full of good authentic restaurants and bars. The public transport connection was good, easy to get to the Vatican, the Colosseum and so on, and by walk it took us about 20-30 mins to get the city center. Hotel Vibel was a pleasure to stay in. Only a 25 min walk to Termini station. It is residential and commercial with a small variety of food and drink options in the area. Be sure to arrive during business hours as I noticed the front room was not occupied when coming back at The end of the day (though I'm sure if you tell them ahead of time they will arrange for your arrival). The breakfast was a nice selection of fruit, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, and bread. The staff are very pleasant and will make you fresh squeezed juice and a variety of coffee options. Boutique hotel down on San Lorenzo, exactly 2miles from Colosseum. Teams from around the corner take you to Colosseum and Vatican directly. Good eating options nearby. Safe neighborhood even at night.

Hotel itself is by the tram tracks, so you do hear tram noise if you are a light sleeper. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and nice. Made fresh juice served everyday.

Beds are comfy and showers are good. The room that I stayed was lack on lighting. Also strong room fresheners used throughout which could be avoided. Convenient parking. Easy access from highway if you plan on driving around. We reached Pompeii in about 2hours 15min...
