Zerozero100 — Restaurant in Rome

We've been in rome for a few days and we visited the place following of the beautiful comments we saw on the Web. We wanted to eat LOTS of pizza and pasta as we do adore Italian cuisine and we thought it would be a great idea to get all you can eat pizza. So it was! Beautiful really cozi place nice music and such a helpful stuff. I got a meal with a nice martini coctail with the choice of a really tasty buffet for 11€ and my husband the same meal but with a coke for 10€. The pizzas were tasty and the pasta so... Italian! There was other choices like eggplant plate or corrot-coliflower plate or tuna salad and much more. As the hours were passing they did refreshing their plates with new and tasty food. Such a good quality. Something I would suggest is to reserve a table instead of just showing up as the are really busy-weve tryed to book the next day and it was fully booked. Ho scelto di passare la serata di Capodanno in questo ristorante viste anche le valutazioni molto alte che aveva, ma è stata una delle peggiori esperienze culinarie della mia vita. Nonostante il prezzo non fosse affatto economico, il menu non includeva né il brindisi di mezzanotte, né il panettone, né le lenticchie o il cotechino, elementi della tradizione che ci si aspetterebbe in una cena di Capodanno. Una mancanza incomprensibile e deludente.

Il servizio è stato molto disorganizzato: i camerieri portavano un piatto a una persona del tavolo, poi si spostavano a servire altri tavoli, lasciando gli altri commensali ad aspettare molto tempo prima di essere serviti. Questo ha reso sgradevole e imbarazzante l'attesa e ha costretto chi aveva già ricevuto il piatto a mangiare cibo ormai freddo. Inoltre, le posate non sono mai state cambiate, facendo utilizzare la stessa forchetta per piatti alternati tra crudi e cotti, rossi e bianchi, in totale disattenzione alle basilari norme igieniche. Una scelta che risulta una mancanza alle basi del galateo che ci si aspetterebbe fossero rispettate, vista l'immagine che il locale cerca di trasmettere.

La qualità del cibo è stata il colpo finale. Il pesce crudo, in particolare, era evidentemente di pessima qualità o mal conservato. Nonostante avessi mangiato poco perché le portate (già scarse) non erano tutte di mio gradimento (e, visti i piatti portati via quasi intatti degli altri tavoli, deduco non fossi l'unica a non apprezzare le portate insipide e con un retrogusto poco piacevole), ho passato la notte a vomitare e con forti disturbi gastrointestinali, con ogni sintomo riconducibile a un’intossicazione alimentare. Questo ha sollevato seri dubbi sulla qualità e sulla corretta conservazione di alimenti delicati come il pesce crudo.

Nice place with a nice location and terrace, the service is very good, every 15 minutes the waiter checks. 5 star for the service although the fish food doesnt seem to be of a high quality. We ordered a raw fish and other dishes some of them where tasty while others like risotto with crustaceans a bit sandy and I had a feeling that the fish wasn't raw but conserved for economy even if the prices are high for such dishes. Recommend only if you taste seafood for the first time but sure you can find other places with better...
