My stay at this guesthouse was undeniably unpleasant. The bathroom had an unbearable stench. It was absolutely repulsive, making it nearly impossible to use without feeling disgusted, indicating a lack of cleanliness and maintenance and the towels we were given had an odorous smell. When I requested for clean towels, to my disappointment, I was charged $10 for a towel replacement without my consent. Not only was the charge unwarranted, but the reception girl Melissa also failed to inform me beforehand, leaving me blindsided by the unauthorised transaction.
When I voiced my dissatisfaction and requested a refund on the unauthorised transaction to Ermanno the owner, his behaviour was disrespectful and unprofessional. He started shouting and even had the audacity to suggest that I should leave the hotel for complaining about the bathroom smell and the towel issue. It was an absolute display of unprofessionalism and a complete lack of respect for guests. What astounded me even more was the owner's contradictory actions. Initially claiming he couldn't smell anything wrong in the bathroom, he opened the windows in the bathroom when he went to check. This act only further confirmed the blatant negligence and disregard for guest comfort.

Read moreWe booked this guesthouse through booking.com for 3 nights in Rome and were 100% satisfied with the service we received. Before we arrived, our host had contacted us to find out what time we would be arriving to ensure we were met at the door. He gave us a detailed map, some tour information, our breakfast vouchers for the cafe around the corner and just some general info too which was helpful.||||The room was ideal for us, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. It had a personal touch staying inside a Rome apartment block rather than a hotel chain. Tea/coffee making facilities were available in the room, a spacious wardrobe, TV and a clean bathroom.||||The location was also brilliant, less than a five-minute walk from the Termini station. We paid for the Omnia pass and you can catch the Omnia bus from the Termini station so didn't have to walk far for our adventure to start.||||Would definitely recommended staying here and I would return when I...
