This place is really handy,is close to a metro station about 5 mins away, close the the Roman forum and collaseum about 10 minutes walk, Didn't eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food, although there was an option of breakfast but it's close to cafe/supermarket so we didn't bother Hotel was nice on the outside and in although a few minor faults could be ironed out, Room was quite noisy with outside traffic/trams,I know the hotel cannot help this but just beware,if your a light sleeper The Aircon in the hotel room could only be set to "warm"as hotel advised it's winter and it's on a main system so rooms cannot be set individual bit rediculous tbh, Safe in room didn't work, hotel did try and fix this however, Also tv,couldn't find any English channels just French and Italian, not that you go.away to watch TV All in all apart from the above this hotel is in an excellent location and they really do make you feel welcome and individual I would definitely return

A hotel priced at 300Euro per night is expected to have rooms and an environment which just works. However this is not what I found. In the room there was no ironing board or iron. AND no way of calling to reception as the over elaborate digital phone system was not working. The rooms relied on this system for everything so when the AC was turned off, it would not come back on. Reception was hit and miss. On checking out there was a note on the desk “be right back”. I felt like I was staying with Basil Fawlty at Fawlty Towers! This is all made worse with the constraints of a business trip where timelines are tight. Breakfast was not served on the beautiful terrace, but, instead on the pavement alongside a busy road at a cafe. All in all, not what I’d expect from a 300euro hotel.

Absolutely loved the food and the service. I would give this place 10 starts if I could. Loved the atmosphere, the level of service and the food. The cocktail lounge was fantastic as well and the bar manager went out of his way to ensure that we had a great experience. The drinks are super cool and different. Ps loves the tree with hanging mini cookies.

Overall we had a good stay here. There were just little things that let this hotel down. The place needs a coat of paint - by all means have brightly coloured walls, but give them a bit of love. My room was bright blue and every knock and chip was super obvious. Made the effect look cheap and unloved. The shelf in my bathroom was hanging off the wall at an angle, so nothing could actually be placed on it. Only one light bulb in the bathroom worked - the other was out. Tea and coffee in the room was not replenished - neither were soaps or toilet paper. It was a pain to have to go and ask for these at reception. And I couldn’t understand why they were not replaced when housekeeping made their rounds. ||||I liked the location - it’s nice to be out of the craziness of the central tourist districts. And there is a taxi rank across the road so it’s easy to get around. ||||The staff were very nice and very helpful. It’s not their fault the owners don’t seem to want to pay for the upkeep of a hotel. The only major beef we had was with the manger of the bar, who was a nasty piece of work. I wouldn’t recommend drinking their. His attitude and manner were horrid. ||||On the whole, for the price, our stay was acceptable. If we’d paid more, I would have been very disappointed with the standard. I probably...

The good things: the bed was very comfortable and the room was quite big. That’s all the good things. The bad things: we came for our honeymoon - we asked to postpone because we did not feel comfortable travelling because of Covid but they refused. Then when we arrived no one was at the hotel. We had to contact booking.com for them to get someone to open the hotel. We were told that the outside bath on our balcony (the reason we booked the room) could not be turned on because of Covid and the whole terrace looked dirty without any tables or clean chairs. There was rarely anyone there - it was as if we were in the hotel alone most the time and the service options were limited to non existent. We had to email to ask for extra toilet roll at least twice!! We understand issues with Covid but we asked to move the booking and the hotel refused but didn’t warn us in advance of the issues with the hotel. The bed covers were not clean and had stains. The bathroom was dirty and there were cobwebs above our bed. The service was rubbish. The bar and restaurant are separate from the hotel so do not be tricked into thinking these are part of the hotel experience - they are not. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and massively overpriced. I can only assume that many of the positive...

I can not recommend The Corner Townhouse enough! This is basically a four-star hotel for a two-star price. Their front desk was always manned by very helpful staff. I’m a solo female traveler and always felt very safe. They give you a building key in addition to the room key as the front desk closes when the bar/restaurant does, but I never had to use the building key, including one Tuesday night when I got home close to 1 AM. ||The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and modern. My bed was one of the most comfortable European hotel beds I’ve ever slept in, and there’s a cool in-mirror TV across from the bed. The bathroom was also modern and very well equipped. Shower was spacious and had great water pressure. ||The courtyard of the hotel features one of the best cocktail bars in Rome. The drinks are creative and delicious, and the bartenders explained every ingredient. Other than the sometimes kitschy music, it was a lovey spot to wind-down at the end of the day – there were always at least a few people there, Romans and tourists alike, but it was never...
