Primetta House — Hotel in San Gimignano

We were greeted by the friendliest couple of all of town! We instantly felt like we were visiting our own grandparents. Even though English is not the couples first language they are SO helpful. The husband brought around books and maps to our patio and showed us where to eat. He even wrote down the best things to try at the restaurant and they were delicious. There were placed he showed us that were near by that we ended up going to later on in our trip. We only stayed one night and we truly wished we could have stayed more. The room was spacious and had everything we could need. (Wine glasses, plates, hair dryer, etc.) In the morning we went out to our patio where we found our breakfast and the wife came around with a nice cup of cappuccino. Primetta and Mauro are the best hosts you could have when staying in the area. Despite the language barrier (They only speak italian) they make themselves undestand and lend you books for when visiting the area. ||The restaurant recommendation they gave us was a good one as well.||||The room was clean and tidy and it's got everything you need when staying in the city.||||Breakfast was continental and included some local meats and cheese. ||||We chose this place as it had parking available. We spent 2 weeks here in Primetta House and loved it. Such a lovely friendly and helpful couple. We were given lots of information...and upgraded to the apartment for our second week ( we had booked a room). Beautiful, warm people ....with lots of good advice and recommendations.
