On our 5th travel day We Stayed in the Tuscany region and unfortunately this turned out to be the worst gastronomic adventure in this beautiful city. The only advantage is that you can have a late dinner and we took a chance. The restaurant was full, but luckily for us there was a place inside. Everything went well until we took a sit.
In order to make an order we waited a waitress for 20-30 minutes.
Also All wine glasses were dirty, had drops and streaks. It is not acceptable!!! Especially not acceptable is receipt in 100 euro and 15% service fee!!!
Aperol cocktail was tasteless.
The mussels were very wet and tasteless too.
In the restaurant was noisy, the staff ran back and forth, a lot of fuss.
Delicate service you will not find here.
We received a receipt in which we found out that it has 15% of service fee! One question is: Which service?
In the end, we were waiting for the payment terminal too long so we decided to go to the counter by ourselves.
Btw, the shrimps and the boat dish were delicious, but overall please avoid this place, because there are other restaurants in the San Gimignano, where you can have 50-60 euro invoice with excellent service...

After a long journey with a small baby (5 months) in the car, we stopped here for lunch. First when we came inthey told us we are closed in 30 minutes, we said ok we take just a coffee. The restaurant inside where we were sitting was empty only 2 people in the corner who we didn ´ t see. Really crazzy but the waiter arrived to tell us change the table for smaller one! He really wasn ´ t polite at all! We took all things for baby and changed the place. It was really bully! After I asked if we can put the baby on the table( the restaurant was empty) because she was sitting nany houres in the car and outside was rainning! He finally said yes and when we did it he arrived to tell us non! So I again take the baby and all of stuff and very disapointed we leaft this place and will never come back!!!! We travel around the world with my husband and that is sure it was the most...
Read morePizza was good. The rest was terrible. Never before in Italy have I been asked to pay the bill at the table so we could leave. We still had wine in our glasses and it was only 10:30 PM. NEVER BEFORE have we been presented with a 15% “service charge” - “coperto” is perfectly normal and acceptable but adding 15% to the bill. This is not the USA! We were recommended the place and therefore had not researched the place before arriving. The waiter was sloppy and unengaged and if I had not been quick he would have spilled red wine on my white jeans. Only a cheeky remark that he knew a good laundromat no apology from him. It is a boring tourist trap...
