Caprese...served on roughly chopped lettuce...on a tower of flavourless mozzarella and tomato cut with a wooden spoon. Lacks effort/presentation/finesse
Bread basket, ok. Foccacia was nice.
Saffron pasta - nice...no complaints
Tagliata was meant to be with cheese but they served me the other, I said OK no problem, just bring some cheese so that I can eat warm food. Cheese arrived and it was gorgonzola as expected. The quality of the meat wasn't nice. Lots of sinule so chewy. Probably cheap cut of meat being used. After this they then charged me 2€ MORE. When I told the waiter he walked away.
Wine, ok. Can't expect much for 6€
Mixed salad...very basic lettuce & tomatoes. Lacks effort/presentation/finesse
Other Issues:
waiter is odd,...its not Italian, just wrong attitude. I see others have mentioned similar 2 people, one after the other announcing the same thing. Poor communication between them...but yet... None of them mentioned NO CARDS. Cash only...so we had to find cash/ATM...waiter made it our problem and walked away...instead of being apologetic for not announcing it or trying to fix the machine. The waiter stares from the kitchen door a lot...its a bit weird..like a comedy show
In summary, this was our last night in town and it was ruined by this place...there are MANY alternatives
We had a MUCH better experience at Il Pino the...

Read moreWe had an incredible experience at Trattoria Chiribiri. From the moment we walked in, the host made us feel completely at home — friendly, charming, and genuinely funny. We started with the Caprese di Buffala and a plate of grilled vegetables, both beautifully fresh and flavorful. The tagliolini with speck, saffron, and zucchini was absolutely perfect — every bite balanced and cooked just right.
But the real star of the show? The tiramisu. I eat tiramisu daily, and this was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. Light, rich, and perfectly layered — it alone is worth a visit.
Warm hospitality, incredible food, and a dessert that sets the bar — Trattoria Chiribiri is the kind of place you’ll want to return to...
