The hotel is old world charm. Beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, flower scents drifting from the garden, stepping into your room feels like you’re taken back in time. The bathroom is moderns but small. However, you have all your necessities. The bed was comfortable and provided a restful sleep.
The hotel itself is a little tricky to get to at first. If you driving, you can park your car for about 25 euros a night. The garden and grounds are small but beautifully decorated with colorful florals. The location is great- everything is walking distances.
The breakfast was tasty too- fresh fruit, capuchino, croissants and refreshing yogurt. Also, I’m not sure the name of our waitress but she was really pleasant. My family and I really enjoyed having conversations with her during our morning breakfast. It’s those little things that make this boutique hotel top notch…establishing an intimacy you wouldn’t be able to attain in big...
Read moreThis is one of the most special hotels I have ever stayed at. Manuela, Viviana, and Riccardo run Sant’Andrea at a five star level and were incredibly helpful with my (many) questions and just such friendly people. Santa Margherita Ligure is a little slice of paradise and Hotel Sant’Andrea is the perfect base to explore this charming town- and further Liguria. You can swiftly walk into town, have the best focaccia in under five minutes, dine among the locals in San Siro, and stroll to the waterfront in ten minutes. The rooms are spacious, charming, and immaculately clean. Breakfast was exceptional and the attention to detail was above par. Take apertivo outside in the garden and gaze at the surrounding hills and beautiful flora that surrounds you. Sant’Andrea is a one of a kind hotel and it is thanks to its wonderful team. I can’t...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed at this hotel for eight nights. The entire grounds are gorgeous. It is a small boutique hotel which adds to the charm! No elevator, which we were fine with (only 3 stories). The property is well manicured with lush gardens. Our favorite part of each day was waking up and having breakfast in the garden, which is included with your stay. I highly recommend the farm fresh yogurt, and sweet croissants. What is made this stay even more enjoyable is the team here. Everyone has been kind and accommodating. Emanuela who works the front desk went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay! Giving us advice on places to visit and checking in to make sure we didn't need anything. If you're going to be staying in the area I would highly...
