Panetteria del Corso — Restaurant in Santa Margherita Ligure

Came here twice during our stay in this lovely town. Mostly came to stock up on bread for breakfast or just for a quick snack during our walks. Staff was very friendly (almost everybody is in this wonderful town), prices clearly aimed at locals....very very fair prices.

The best items we've found were the delicous Focaccia (this region is famous for it) and also another item (forgot its name - check my pic): it's made of thin dough, almost like Filo pastry. Then topped and filled with fresh cheese (possibly a mix of ricotta, mascarpone). It's so tasty. Just as a snack or as a quick breakfast.

Really a nice place with real good bread, pastry and more. Surely worth...

Siamo stati la seconda domenica di Settembre, e devo dire che le pizze tutte molto valide e prezzi anche onesti( questo per quanto riguarda il mattino). Quindi ci siamo detti..siamo di fretta accaldati affamati..ritorniamo per le 18 prima di tornare a Torino...abbiamo preso piu o meno le stesse cose, peccato che il conto e' leggermente lievitato a 18€ piuttosto che I 6€ pagati al mattino, con dulcis in fundo lo scontrino da 6€. Quindi se almeno purtroppo non riusciro a recuperare I miei soldi, almeno chebi proprietari del panificio sappiano cosa fanno le proprie commese. I liguri non si...

Nice focaccia and pizzette( Bakery pizza), tasty rotisserie delicacies, friendly staff and long opening hours. It is a good idea to get your lunch here before going to the beach or walking...
