While the hotel may be cozy in size, its prime location in the heart of Venice's bustling center is undeniably its standout feature. With the convenience of reaching key attractions within a mere 2-minute stroll, including the illustrious St. Mark's Square, this hotel offers an unparalleled gateway to the enchanting wonders of the city. The allure of being situated at the epicenter of Venice's vibrant life is a definite draw. Waking up to the rhythm of Venetian life just beyond your doorstep, where the Grand Canal flows and historic sites beckon, creates an immersive experience that captures the essence of this captivating city. The compactness of the hotel is cleverly juxtaposed with the expansive array of experiences awaiting just a stone's throw away. From savoring a morning cappuccino while watching gondolas glide by to relishing the enchanting ambiance of St. Mark's Square as daylight fades, each moment becomes a memory woven into the fabric of your stay. While the hotel's size may not offer extensive facilities, the trade-off is an authentic Venetian experience that immerses you in the city's vibrant energy. The choice to forgo excess space for unbeatable access to Venice's treasures is a strategic one, enabling guests to make the most of their time by indulging in the city's rich history, artistic heritage, and culinary delights. In a city where every corner seems to whisper tales of its storied past, the hotel's strategic location becomes a valued asset. Whether your inclination is to explore architectural wonders, embark on a shopping spree through charming alleyways, or simply soak in the atmosphere of Venetian life, the hotel's central positioning allows you to seamlessly weave these desires into your itinerary. In the grand tapestry of Venice's offerings, this hotel may be a small but significant thread, woven intricately into the narrative of your journey. It serves as a charming base from which to unravel the city's secrets, and despite its size, it promises an unforgettable experience that encapsulates the magic of Venice's main center.

From the point of expectations- reality, we’ve got disappointed. - checkin takes place in another hotel - there is nobody from the service to support you during your stay - rooms are not equipped: not enough plug sockets, bedside tables. Bidet and wardrobe were broken. - rooms are not really clean - there is one common toilet and shower for the entire floor (~6 rooms) - it’s loud inside and outside + perfect location + easy to reach from the central station + many restaurants and cafes in the near + nice supermarket is only 2 minutes away

My jsme měli rodinný pokoj, byli jsem v prvním patře pokoj 11 s vlastní koupelnou, větrákem v koupelně byli slyšet klienti co bydleli o patro výš. To bylo nepříjemné, potřebovali jsme uspat děti a děvčata o patro výše řádili až do dvou do rána.

A very basic room. Great location, close to one of my favourite italian seafood restaurant in Venice. Unfortunately that is the only thing I liked about the place.||We were given a room in the “satellite” hotel, situated 5mins walk away. The reception is literally operational approximately from 8-9am. So any problems you would have to walk to the main hotel reception. ||Room was clean. Bathroom was dirty. Could see hair hanging from the shower head. Bathroom sink platform was cracked. Bathroom door doesn’t close properly. I emailed the hotel person in charge if the hotel was affected by last week’s flood, she said no. When we first entered the room, we noticed doors were stiff and wood damages (probably from previous floods). ||A word of advice, if the rooms are cheap in Venice (we paid €220/4 nights), there is always a catch. Ground floor rooms are always cheaper. I found the room noisy because it’s right next to the reception, main door and the window facing the alley way. Even though we were close to the reception where the wifi router is, we had absolutely no wifi signal in the room (apart from the toilet), and worse poor 3G signal too. So we had to stay in the reception area for wifi to research our daily plans.||Overall, we had a nice time in Venice but the accommodation was a bit...

We stayed for 2 nights and by far, f all the hotels we stayed across Italy in the past 8 days in Rome, Florence and Milan before, this one’s the best. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the designs on the furniture…. Very Veniceyy… LoL!

It’s 15 minutes walk from the train station, or take the waterbus althats just 5 mins walk and one stop away. Line 2.

The girl at the checkin was pleasant and very helpful. She marked restaurants and good gondola starting spots around the area. We like trying the local food, she listed us 3 of her favorites, 2 of which are now mine too. Haha!

All in all, a very pleasant stay… and I strongly recommend it. When (not if) we visit Venice again, this will be the first place we try and get a room at.

Thank you Hotel Leonardo.
