Teraferma — Restaurant in Venice

Pigeon flew over counter where sandwiches were ! We had ordered our food and thought about cancelling, but decided to just point it out to the waiter instead. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Lasagna was very basic The risotto was okay nice flavour, but mostly rice very small portions. As our food arrived, the waiter blew his nose on a tissue and put the tissue in his pocket. We pointed this out as he served us that he should throw away tissue and wash his hands ! He became aggressive In nature. He showed us he had alcohol gel ! But I pointed out that as it was body fluid, he should wash his hands. We also mentioned the pigeon episode at this point and he became even more agitated, and he told us that this is just what happens everyday !!pigeons, fly in the shop every day !! Nothing he can do ! We finished our food in a very awkward Atmosphere. I used the toilets which were clean. However, there was no soap in the ladies toilet and the wash basin outside was out of order. The hand dryer is not working! on paying the bill - I mentioned Politely that the ladies toilet needed soap as it had run out. The waiter from earlier, then started shouting at me and said if I want better hygiene I need to pay more and pay more than €10 for my food, I should go up the road that I shouldn’t expect luxury Cleanliness For the price I had paid for my food !! if I expect five star I need to pay more money !! I pointed out. I just wanted basic hygiene conditions and I was just pointing out that they need to replenish soap in the ladies toilet . Very rude staff! ...

For my meal, I started with the tagliatelle bolognese, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was hearty with just the right balance of meat and tomato, clinging to the fresh pasta in a way that makes you savor each bite.

To drink, I had a refreshing mango and passion fruit cocktail that was both vibrant and well-balanced—sweet, but with a tangy kick that made it a standout.

For dessert, I couldn’t resist trying the tiramisu. It was indulgent, with layers of creamy mascarpone and delicate espresso-soaked ladyfingers. I paired it with one of their specialty coffees, which was strong, smooth, and a perfect end to the meal.

Overall, Terraforma is a great spot for a relaxed meal with an extensive menu, delicious cocktails, and a great view of Venice’s lively streets. Highly recommended for both food...

DO NOT VISIT HERE!!! This is officially the worst place I have ever visited, a group of us went here and everyone’s pasta was rock hard (under cooked) absolutely horrible, got the carbonara it tasted as if someone put cream into a ball of sticks, bland and as I said rock hard pasta. The lasagna, it would have been about 70 grams of pasta I’ve never seen anything like it before and not to mention it was stone cold in the middle!!!! We also ordered the pizza, they charged an extra €5 for no reason and the pork on it was completely raw!! And last we also got the spaghetti seafood dish and the pasta was rock hard and there was not one prawn or mussel in sight just nothing, it was as if someone squeezed a rotten tomato onto raw pasta. Oh yeah I got a Long Island ice tea as well 1/2 ice and the other half coke!!! This place is an absolute scam do not come here if you come to Venice

7 dishes 5 drinks and a pizza all for a price of €176 what a disgrace!

If you want a good place to go to then go to Gino’s it’s a place 10 minutes away and we got more then that for €144 and it is the best food we have ever eaten definitely...
