Atlantis Pub — Restaurant in Verona

Found this place online and thought cocktails look great.. So my 1 star is for the tasty drink and 1 for how lovely the place looked.. We walked in and asked for a menu. He didn't speak just handed us a piece of card with a QR code on..(fair enough moden times) They did not have any other written languages, we did not order food as we don't read Italian.. (again fair enough)

I would say if you are not a local, don't bother with this place as an 'English tourist ' we felt we were unwelcome..

There were 3 other tables in the outside area, and all the locals were given snacks.. the only English table was ourselves we were excluded from this (we were not the last table to be seated) from what I've read this isn't the first time this had happened!! (Yes, I've seen your reply to this last time.) The owner was unfriendly. One table sat told me they didn't ask for the snacks they were given freely...

Wow, after reading the reviews about rudeness, I thought this couldn't be true... and then reading the owners replies and reading him blame everyone else but looking at his attitude. You can get a feel for the owner by reading his replies, which were actually fun reading.. lol..

I'm sure if he does reply to this review, it will all be my fault.. (eye roll)

If you don't want negative reviews, treat your customers better, don't blame all the customers for your poor behaviour..

Visited for the Guinness which was good although pricey at 7€, but expected and in line with most Veronese food hospitality venue prices. Same price as Messina, Sicily in June, although only 5€ at home in Prov. Ferrara in the neighbouring Region. Menu difficult to handle as we are not familiar with QR menus. Got a printed menu from the owner, however. I had Caesar Salad but don't like small pieces of defrosted catering chicken, tiny industrial croutons again industrial catering and worse 1cm square pieces of catering grana padana, like a buy in Lidl for certain home savoury bakes. We're in Italy so why not some nice shavings off a proper wedge of PR, as I use at home and buy from Bertinelli. I know the dish is USA in origin but does not give a 'good impression' of Italian dining. The dressing was overlooked and when it did arrive consisted of the dregs of a bottle which I had to take back inside to have the dribble bashed down to the spout. A further bottle was offered if there was insufficient, cmq. My husband had his second filled roll/panino of the day! Drink pessimi, purtroppo, personale un po assente soprattutto all’esterno. (meglio munirsi di telecamera per visione per l esterno) E riuscire a controllare se si scarseggia di camerieri. (Ok ultimo dell’anno, momento in cui sono stata io, giustificabile). Personalmente pagherei anche 15€ un drink fatto bene aspettare e riuscire a berlo piuttosto che pagarne 7 e lasciarlo lì. Il mio cosmopolitan, personalmente, sapeva da alcol rosa e vetril. Mi spiace. Non credo torneró.

Aggiorniamo post risposta 7/1/23 Allora, premettiamo che grandi dotti non siete, commentare sull’aspetto fisico dei clienti non vi fa molta gloria, ma sarà caratteriale, come diceva la mia povera nonnina. I drink dei miei amici (alcuni precisiamo) saranno tornati anche vuoti i bicchieri perche gli rodeva pagarvi e non bere cio che avevano preso. Ma gli altri tavoli li hanno visti tutti, finivano solo le cose in lattina 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.. Nessun problema per le scuse, non ero indispettita personalmente. Con me nemmeno ha parlato se non per prendere l’ordine. Coltello nella schiena un bel niente. Se non vedete i bicchieri che tornano al bancone pieni vi serve l’oculista. Leggo inoltre nelle recensioni che voi persistete a definirvi PUB e non BAR. Mhhhhhhh (🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 io manco umani vi definirei leggendo come rispondete) noto sempre nelle recensioni che per qualsiasi problema il suddetto problema è del cliente e non del proprietario. Cito, a vostro dire, che fate cocktail da 20anni? L’ultimo aggiornamento nel 2003? . Inoltre i clienti come me non tornano, ma se dite meglio non avere clienti che averli siete sicuri di tenerci alla vostra attività? Bah. Senza clienti chi vi da cash ? Anziche’ attirare nuovi clienti preferite fare la selezione all’ingresso, AAAA attenzione al pubblico : A QUESTO BAR SI FANNO SELEZIONI PER SFILATE 😂. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stelle all’ idiozia, questo ti fa anche una buona pubblicità come persona e come donna se ti fermi all’aspetto esteriore di una persona.
