We with another couple booked 2 units to stay after a performance at the Arena. We had a bedroom and ensuite shower room each and a shared kitchen/dining room. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well equipped. It was quiet overnight.||||The Residenza is just a few minutes from Piazza Bra and the Arena. There is an Aldi nearby (smarter and with more attractive products than our nearest in Croydon) if you want to eat in. Piazza Cittadella has a large public car park, and is less than a mile from Porta Nuova railway station - an easy ride by taxi or bus. You cannot be dropped immediately outside the Residenza because it opens onto a pedestrianised area - which helps to makes it quiet, of course - but you are only perhaps 50 metres away.||||There is no reception but you agree your arrival time (up to 5pm) with the owners and they have someone there to meet you. Our host spoke excellent English. They are there from 9am to 10am, providing a generous continental breakfast buffet, ready advice, and so forth. The staff were all very friendly...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed a night in the blue room and were extremely satisfied with the location, service, cleanliness, quiet room/area, room temperature and amenities, breakfast, etc etc.||The mini fridge in the room is a great asset; the A/C was nice a strong and independently controlled. Our bed was very comfortable (we easily get backaches). The apartment/room décor is neutral and beautiful. The location is just a few steps from the Roman Arena but on a quiet piazza overlooking an underground parking garage. The building is safe as a heavy metal gate locks at every passage. The owner and the employees were extremely gracious!||Breakfast is self-serve with light items such as pastries, bread, jam, yogurt, fruit, coffee. Even though it is advertised as "buffet", it is called so because it is set on a buffet and guests serve themselves. However, it is not the "buffet" as usually referred to by hotels (no meats, cheeses, eggs, etc.) It is still quite adequate and fresh.||I will definitely return if I head to Verona in the future. Highly...
Read moreThe place is beautifully arranged, as are the color-themed rooms. We got the green one. Each room seems to have been recently renovated, yet kept a part of the old antique wall exposed, which made it even more special. The place is 4 mins from the incredible roman Arena, in front of a nice little park with a fountain. Perfect location. Note that it's 20 mins walking from the train station, which was pretty ok. The staff was very kind, and helpful. Breakfast was very nice: sweet breakfast with croissants, yogurts and fruits and great coffee. They let us keep our luggage after check-out while we continued our visit of lovely Verona. We are definitely coming back. Keep in mind check-in is only possible...
