I spent four days while in Verona for work. This is very well situated near the city centre and very close to bus routes so it 's a good base. I chose the area because it was advised for sightseeing and socialising it was a good place to be and it was easy for me to go by bus where I need to work. ||||The accommodation was comfortable, very clean, private and spacious. The set up is perhaps a little unusual -- I would guess this was originally one very large apartment and has now been changed to have two rooms (with their own bathroom/toilets) and a common area where you can sit and a small help-yourself tea/coffee area. I had a very friendly reception and once or twice when my wife needed help we got friendly help. The street outside is very busy but the sound proofing is excellent and with good shutters, you can sleep soundly.||||I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.||||One point that might not suit anyone: this is not a place where there is a reception/concierge on duty all the time. This was not a problem at all for us but something to be aware of. ||||The only slightly negative remark is that breakfast is organised through restaurant at the ground floor. You are given a voucher to use. There is choice of two breakfasts (but no variation within that). The quality and quantity of the breakfast was good but if I had to stay any longer I would have had to go elsewhere to...
Read moreLovely B & B on the third floor of a block. The bedroom was large and the furnishings were lovely. The bathroom a good size. Both immaculately clean. The air conditioning was super efficient, as was the double glazing, which is necessary because you over look a busy road. The little balcony was nice to sit on for a night cap. ||On arrival the gentleman gave us a map and showed us a route on how to see the sights. In the morning in the lounge there is an ample continental breakfast, and the lovely friendly lady made us fresh omelettes. .||We went to the opera one night, and walked back to our room in just over five minutes.||When we checked out we were allowed to leave our luggage In Casa Vittoria until we caught our train.||When you arrive at the address on the Corsa Porta Nuova. There is a door between a restaurant and a shop. It has a bank of doorbells on it's right hand side. The name of Cas Vittoria is on one of the bells. Just ring and the gentleman will come...
Read moreWe were 7 women on a girlie trip to verona so this place was absolutely ideal for us since we booked all the rooms which meant we have 3 bathrooms, Nice decor, very confortable, lovely breakfast and friendly helpful staff always available to help. Car park recommended by the B&B was nearby and convenient since we had a large 9 seater van to park. Location to Verona couldn't really be better. We made day trip sto Venice and Lake Garda from here. There was only 1 small issue, we did not really realise that we would not have access to a kitchen, and it would have been really nice to fridge somewhere for our use, but it wasn't a real problem since the staff werer able to get out stuff from the kitchen fridge when we needed it. I would make one recommendation to the owner, ironoing facilitiy needs to be provided, even if just 1 iron in the...
