We had a really nice 4-night stay at Hotel Trieste with our 2 dogs. The staff was very welcoming and everything was easy. The hotel is very stylish and has a nice lobby / sitting area and breakfast room. On weekends they serve cocktails and create a nice vibe downstairs.
Our room was great - we got the "blue room" in the photos. The view from the balconies over the park and city was very nice and at night, the doors did a nice job of keeping the street noise out.
Breakfast was really good as well. There was a nice variety of local meats, cheeses, fruits, breads and sweets, as well as eggs and coffee to order.
The location was really perfect for us. It is a very short walk to the old center and pedestrian zone yet far enough away to avoid most of the crowds. Also, with two dogs, we needed a green area close by and the park across the street was ideal.
Parking was important for us since we drove from Croatia. Hotel Trieste is ideally located for travelers who arrive by car. It's easy to find and the street out front is normal sized with a loading zone in front of the hotel. We didn't know about the hotel's parking situation before the trip but we were told about the garage when we got there, which I'm sure is also fine. Instead we parked at a well known private garage less than a block away for the same daily price.
We also liked that the hotel is 'adults' only but allows dogs!
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The price seemed very reasonable, everyone was super friendly, and most importantly, everything went as planned with no surprises!
We will definitely stay at Hotel Trieste when we come...
Read moreThis was a last minute booking as we decided to take a few days in Verona. We found this adorable hotel online and decided to book it. Upon arrival, the lobby was quirky and fun with it's décor! Full of interesting things to look at and take pictures of! The front desk staff in this hotel was top notch. They had suggestions on places they liked to eat/drink etc, that would help us avoid the tourist traps. Being a boutique hotel, they also play numerous roles. We came back with wine and wanted to enjoy it in our room and they got us an ice bucket and glasses (even helped when we needed it filled again the next day). The room was HUGE, like we could have hosted a party in it. Again it had funky/quirky décor. It also had little balconies off of it so we could stand out there and look at the stars, or the buildings next to us. The location is right on the main thoroughfare, Porta Nuova, that heads into the center of town and is a short walk to everything. Even though it looks walkable from the train station, I would suggest a taxi as the station area is a bit of a mess. I would definitely go back to this hotel, if not just to see what a different room looks like! Thanks to eveyone there for making our...
Read moreI am constantly on the hunt for somewhere special to stay. A place that makes you want to tell people about them. Characteristics of cool, unique, and trendy always catches my eye. I found it here in Boutique Trieste. Decorated in Vibrant hues and Retro fixtures and an intriguing collection of cleverly recycled objects, blending the old and new. We stayed in a larger room, airy with 2 cozy balconies and a spacious bathroom equipped with wonderfully powerful shower. Some essentials like free mineral water in the mini bar, hospitality tray with coffee tea amenities. Complimentary and good Wi-Fi. Breakfast is available onsite but we decided to venture out as there are many tempting eating options just at the doorstep. The location: Hotel is located away from the ZTL area, indoor parking in onsite(best reserve a spot and if you have a large vehicle then its a challenge to manoeuvre into the tight spaces) A short hop and skip to Verona's main attractions, for example the Verona Arena - only 6 mins walk Hotel staffs: all your doubts and questions are taken care...
