旅館 深雪温泉 — Hotel in Fuefuki

Known onsen ryokan in Isawa Onsen (city and chuo line station). Small hotel, no luxurious rooms, average tatami floor, with basic amenities (yukata, towels, razor, comb). However, very high quality onsen water and very competitive communal baths for both male and female customers. They give the opportunity try both outside and inside bathhouses by alternating their use during the day (eg. female customers use one bath 1, and male customers use bath 2, and then they clean and switch their use, now female customers use bath 2 and male use bath 1), Maybe because of labor shortage or costs, they do not offer food (dinner and breakfast), just a very competitive price for one night. I came for the hot spring only. Price is 1400 Yen per adult, quite pricey but they are very proud of their hot spring as it's claimed that it's 100% natural without any addition of other water to cool down or heat up. All the water in the facility including the taps and showers are using hot spring water and you can smell subtle sulphur. It's constantly flowing hot spring and the water in the bath is not circulated.

Hot spring itself is very good but the facility is very basic (non-existent)for day bath visitors. You busy come for the bath and that's it.

Despite being expensive, I recommend the place for a good quality bath.

断食を兼ねた湯治という特殊な宿泊をしたので、参考にならないかもしれませんがご容赦ください。

私自身の連休がたまたまあったので、近場で温泉をと思い色々探すなかで「深雪温泉」を見つけました。

一人旅だし最近体が重いので断食してみようと、「お部屋おまかせの素泊まりプラン」があったのでそれにしました。

４泊した中で私が感じた良い点と気になった点を以下にあげます。

良い点

・源泉かけ流しの温泉は最高。完全放流式・加水なし・加温なし・低張性・アルカリ性のお湯は肌がスベスベになります。シャワーも源泉です。浴室脱衣場ともに清潔感がありました。清掃や男女入替準備を除きほぼ24時間入れます。11回入浴してどの時間に入ってもほぼ貸し切り状態でした。

・接客があっさりしている。素泊まりプランだったからかもしれませんが、人とあまり関わりたくない私には良かったです。従業員さんの愛想は良いです。

・アクセスが楽。東京から中央線特急かいじで一本。宿は石和温泉駅からも近いので気軽に行けます。しかし、雨の日の徒歩は辛いかもしれません。

気になった点

・部屋がタバコ臭い。タバコを全く吸わない私は入った瞬間に感じました。エアコンが臭いのかと思い数時間切った状態の部屋に再度入るときもタバコ臭を感じましたので、部屋自体にタバコ臭が染み付いているのだと思います。タバコが苦手な方が「お部屋おまかせプラン」を選ぶ場合は注意が必要かと。一応空気清浄機（シャープ製）はありました。

・無料Wi-Fiが頻繁に途切れる。１時間全く繋がらない時もある。無料だから仕方ないと思えるか「無料Wi-Fi」を売りにしているならちゃんとしろと思うか。

・外がうるさい。街の中にあるような宿なので、道路を走る車の音が聞こえます（目の前に国道411号が通っています）。夜には爆音の車やトラックが走ってました。デリケートな方は眠れないかも。

・階段しかない。宿にはエレベーターがありません（エレベーターがないことは宿のＨＰや予約サイトにも明記されています）。私は全く大丈夫でしたが足の悪い方は辛いだろうなと思います。

・自動販売機がない。旅館の目の前にコンビニやドラッグストアがあるので問題はないのですが、自動販売機を置けば良いのになぁと単純に思いました。

・お風呂の脱衣場に綿棒がない。あるのはヘアドライヤーとティッシュのみです。アメニティに期待はしていませんが綿棒は欲しかった…

以上、温泉目的で行き、料理を全く食べてないので正当な評価ではないですが、温泉を入りゴロゴロしに行く...
