HOSTEL SAMURISE 81INN... — Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

One of the worst experiences in Japan. Me and my girlfriend took the last train from Tokyo (10.30 pm) and we arrived at 12.00 am at the hotel. The last minute booking was smooth, they charge everything online, but when we get there, there was no one to contact. The check in process is automatic, and when we did it, it was good until we supposed to receive a pass to unlock the door. The system went down and we where calling literally everyone we could to help us, but it was until almost 4 am when someone from Agoda finally reply with the password. It was cold, we where tired and there was literally no one to talk to. If you want to have a hotel, and accept last minute bookings, at least answer the phone in case your automatic check in software went down. No other hotel to go (very small town), no answer from anyone (nor agoda or the hotel staff) and no satisfactory answer. It's the first time that I think we were psicologically affected, because now I'm afraid of doing last minute booking and, when you really need them, all of the apps (booking, Agoda etc) wants to charge you more for fast reply. This place is worth staying for👍specially at the attic your gonna see the beautiful Mt. Fuji🗻❤️from the window.

Amenities like towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, hair dryer, tea, water heater, mini refrigerator are provided. I hope you can include microwave oven for your amenities. It has 2 shower room, and 2 separate toilet. I hope you can put a label for female shower and Male shower as well as the toilet.

When we went there we were group of 8people and the maximum for 1 of their rooms is only 6 so we have to rent another room for 2 people. But I think attic area can be good for 6-8 people.

We were about to leave the place when I notice that my comforter thus have a blood stain 🤭 And I don’t have my period that time. I hope you check well the blankets and change what needs to be change.

My stay was very comfortable and quiet. The room and common area is very clean. For the low price comes low expectations and this exceeded my low expectations. This is a hostel and not a hotel. People complaining about guest noise and sharing toilet and showers should look for a hotel instead. The room is very clean, the electric heater is very quiet. Luckily during my stay, people were quiet. You will still hear some walking in the hallways, but that is way quieter than the outside road noise from cars. Self check-in was easy and they had pictures outside guiding with clear arrows where the parking lot is. I don't know how much more instructions can be needed. The cost value ratio is very good and...
