This is truly a hidden gem in Kawaguchiko station area!
Only around 7-10mins walk from Kawaguchiko station (easier if you choose the way from Lawson) you will be amazed by how beautiful this villa is!
Check in process is easy, they will explain everything including all facilities that you can enjoy and also you will get welcome drink that you can freely choose up to 7 pm
Make sure to book room with mount fuji view, so you can really enjoy your time sitting in the garden while looking at the mount fuji view. But in case you don't, the villa itself has their own private photo spot with beautiful mount fuji view
The room is so spacious. Besides the bed, they also provided you futon, just in case you wanna try to sleep on those. You can wear kimono as your loungewear as well, which is provided in your room or you can choose other pattern on lobby reception as well.
The bathroom, they have spacious bathtub with onsen style. It's really perfect to ending your day after walking with soaking yourself on the hot tub. Don't mention the bathroom amenities, they have a lot including skincare as well! (As expected from Japanese hotel)
What I really love the most is the breakfast. They can serve you breakfast at 7.30 or 8.30 but you can choose 7.15 if you want to (they can't provide you earlier than that). The staff will comes to your room by cycling and bring you the picnic basket box full of the breakfast menu -bento, drink (you can choose what drink do you like by telling the receptionist), miso soup (best miso soup I had while in Japan!), sweets like mochi (the mochi is so good, I wish I could have more and can bring them home), and fruits. What's more, literally the day before your stay, their staff will contact you to ask if you have diet restrictions (or need to ask if they can make it halal friendly or not like mine) so they can prepare your breakfast acoordingly
Overall, I definitely recommend everyone to stay here, especially if you want to have such a 'healing' time in Fuji. Also, I booked via Agoda and I got a cashback promo so definitely...
Read moreOh what a wonderful stay we had here! We really loved everything about this hotel. When you first get to Kawaguchiko station it can be really overwhelming with all the sights and sounds and the crowd! Oh my goodness! (That’s a story for another time) We arrived at about 5:20 in the afternoon from Shibuya. We started out on foot and headed toward a very unsuspecting residential area. I was thinking “Oh my goodness! Is this the right place??” After a few wrong turns on our part, we were headed in the right direction. It was already dusk as we started walking but the sky was clear and full of stars. After walking for 20 minutes we reached there! It was so cute! There was a lighted tree outside and the reception area was so welcoming and lit. (By now it was pitch black outside)The friendly staff checked us in and answered any questions we had. We made it to our room, and I have to say, “WOW!” Seriously , it did not disappoint. The room was spacious and wonderfully kept. There was a sitting area, a little “kitchenette” area, a big tub in the bathroom for soaking, and so many little amenities that would make our stay more comfy. I also found out the next morning there’s a little patio that you can sit outside and have your morning coffee. What we didn’t know when we booked here, was it was very close (actually walking distance if you have healthy legs) to Lake Kawaguchiko! The little town was bustling with activity and was good for exploring and eating. What is so awesome about staying here is the view. Wow. The Mt. Fuji viewing spot is a wonderful touch, and you can get wonderful pictures of Fuji-san. They also have a rose garden which was not in bloom when we went but it would have been so beautiful to see. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly...
Read moreThe location of this resort is very near to Kawaguchiko Station. On arrival by bus at 9:20, we made some enquiries at the tourist information regarding bus time table for next day trip to Oshino Hakkai at bus stop No 6. We walked to the hotel (there are three different routes ) past the train tracks to our resort nestled in the residential area. We left our day bags there.|After dinner we checked in and were amazed at the spacious chalet which can actually accommodate four people. We booked the garden room with the 24 hours circulation which is very convenient to use in order to do a soak without the need to fill up the bath tub. There is a window which we could open to let in the cool air. The dressing area and toilet are in separate rooms. At the kitchenette, there is a sink suitable for washing our cups and bowls. In the garden there are seats and mallet game. |The next morning we could see the snow-capped top of Mt Fuji from our room. We put on some jackets at 5:30 and walked to the viewing deck 2 minutes away to enjoy Mt Fuji in all its glory. We ordered one breakfast and changed the two hotdog breads to onigiri and two salads. Breakfast are sent at 7:30 and 8:30 but we requested for ours to be sent at 7:15 as we were catching the 8:00 bus to Oshino Hakkai. This resort is also a short walk from Tetsuyaki (opposite the post office ) for our very enjoyable dinner. We left our day bags after checking out at the receptionist to be collected later for our bus trip...
