Despite only being a 3 star hotel, I had a 5 star experience with the stay. For the price, it’s worth it. The rooms are huge and roomy, and the onsen and massage chair was also of high quality. The bed was a little small, but comfy otherwise. The meals were good, the dinner was a stand out seasonal special - the main being Hida beef rolls and teppanyaki. However, the breakfast was a little on the small side, the saikyo miso salmon was only the size of a normal sashimi slice - I wish it was a bit bigger.
