Great friendly Japanese style B&B. Located 0.5km from Main Highland Bus station (with ATM) and 1.4km to Gondola Adam as well as Hakuba JR station. Western style restaurant "Grill Koya" across the road'. "Lawson" convenience store with ATM is 0,4km. ||My Single room was a roomy and comfortable Japanese style room with European bed and Japaneses toilet and separate shower/bath en-suite. There is a European Toilet next to dinning room. Free WiFi in room.||Vending machine for cold drinks including Kirin Japanese Beer.located at reception.||Big breakfast alternating daily between Japanese and European. Breakfast time is booked.||Complimentary area for tea/coffee and biscuits with guest fridge and microwave at top of stairs.||This trip was planed at short notice (under a week) as a lone traveler for 5days skiing I was looking for budget en-suite room.||This place fitted perfectly with best price and facilities. Great Budget Japanese style B&B.only 8 rooms. I was solo traveling and there for 5 days skiing. I had a ground floor en-suite room with European bed. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts are served promptly at the pre-booked time. Friendly Owner/Staff, poor English but by with my very very poor Japanese, Google translate app and speaking slowly we understood each other. There is only one Europe toilet located next to the dinning room. The hall ways are cold as there is no central heating only gas space heaters in rooms. I love the cold so this was not a problem for me. Hot water is turned off during the day but this was never a problem as it was always on when I returned @ 4:30pm. I caught a taxi most mornings (Y1100 approx) with my skis to Gondola and then jumped a free Evergreen Ski school shuttle bus back in the afternoon. Apres-ski was easy walk all within 1.4km.
