We stayed here 2 nights and we found it perfect for our stay. Service basic with no cleaning or garbage collection.
The hotel is close to Hondori and has a lot of buses to Hiroshima Station. A lot of convenience stores around as well. We had a twin room which was very well designed with a lot of space. The toilet is separated from the bath and they provided a great tatami area. We also did our laundry here in the room with the detergent provided. (found it a bit hard to understand the manual provided but found better online) we had breakfast included which was really only two options. The egg sandwich was delicious but coffee was not. there’s no cleaning or towel replacement; and also no garbage collection. TBH this was a bit strange given the hotel did not feel significantly different in price to other hotels. Similarly, checkin was a bit confusing as there’s multiple mentions about 10PM as the cutoff time, but in reality after messaging them there’s a checkin machine open 24/7 (which you have to use anyway even if staff is there). the room we had basically had no view to outside (windows were frosted). Room itself was quiet in term of road noise, but you could hear upstairs...
Read moreThe Fav hotel is great if you are looking for an apartment styled room from a size and location perspective. The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and location is great. But if you want to cook anything that’s tough as the utensils etc are very basic and they don’t provide small thing like dishwasher soap etc. they do however have a washing machine with some pods. But if I compare it to the Mimarus we stayed in it has some better point and some lessor points in comparison. Plus points - bed, location, room is clean and they have things like pjs, disposable toothbrushes etc. downstairs if you need these things. Lessor points - if you want to make breakfast it’s difficult also they have no microwave or toaster to heat your food. We had to go and buy toilet paper as we ran out in the middle of the night as there were no replacements in the toilet. Also they don’t remove trash daily or change towels daily. You can also hear your neighbour’s and if they happen to be noisy there is no one to speak to to get therm to keep...
Read moreThe hotel is very new and the room was very nice. However the nice room was overshadowed by the complete lack of service. Upon arriving at the hotel, there is no real lobby, some high top tables and chairs and 2 check in kiosks. No personal touch whatsoever. I had completed the pre-checkin as requested and provided relevant information online. However I was then asked to re-enter much of the same information again at check-in. When there was an employee around, very little to no English was understood. In the room there was no coffee or tea and if you want coffee in the lobby, you must pay. We heard a lot of loud walking from the room above for the entire stay - not soundproof at all. Lastly, we stayed for 3 nights and had no maid service whatsoever. No one had shared this at all prior, so it was very surprising. On the third day I specifically asked for a little clean and was told the charge would be ¥2,000!!! In total, the experience was...
