This was the best ramen I have ever had. And I am not joking. I have had some of the best ramens Japan had to offer.

I am a ramen mania and I have had ramens from ramenyas all across Japan. From some of the best Hakata donkotsu ramens in Fukuoka to some Michelin-awarded ramenyas in Tokyo, I had so many good ramens that made me manpuku and manjoku.

However, this ramen was another level. In Asia, we call a dish like this '山海珍味'. It means it is a delicious delicacy made out of ingredients from both mountain (earth) and sea.

Their specialty ramen utilizes wagyu and kaki (oyster). Both of these great ingredients from Hiroshima make Umami flavours explode as they infuse in such a harmonious way in a ramen soup. As they suggest, you will also experience how the flavour transform in a magical way when you add some Szechuan pepper. The soup was so delicious that I had to order a bowl of rice (I usually do not do this) to finish the dish clean.

Moreover, both the chef and server's service and hospitality were excellent. I felt so welcome not just as a customer but as a foreign guest. Once you dine here, you will find a reason why their restaurant's wall is adorned with so many autographs and messages. This restaurant excellently represents the greatness of not only...

Go here! This ramen is exceptional. This was the first time at a ramen shop where I had two bowls. I had the #1 first with all the meats. I loved the gyutan and chicken and egg. But my neighbor's milky broth was very interesting. So I used all my change to get another drink and another ramen#7. The mugi shochu was oishii and very generous. The second bowl was amazing. The foamy broth was comforting and delicious. The pieces of beef were slowly being cooked by the broth. Their fatty taste was happiness to me. The chef didn't speak English but they had an English menu to help with the ordering machine. I wanted a sweatshirt but they didn't have a big enough size. Of all the ramen I have eaten, this one had the most complex taste. The chef was careful and deliberate with every step of making the ramen, he arranged the noodles, foamed the broth. I think this shop deserves a better rating than it has because it is unique, has high quality ingredients, and is a work of art. Go...

During our trip to Hiroshima, we found this small ramen restaurant, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay! 🍜

The ramen was absolutely delicious — rich and flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and super fresh ingredients. You can really taste the care and passion that go into every bowl. We tried a few different kinds, and each one had its own unique and perfectly balanced flavor.

But what truly made the experience special were the owners — incredibly kind and welcoming people who made us feel right at home. They even chatted with us for a while and shared a bit of their story. At the end, they gave us some stickers as a gift, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture!

A cozy, authentic place with amazing food and warm-hearted hosts. If you ever visit Hiroshima and love ramen, don’t miss...
