You need to lock your shoes in a locker before going in. Nice, keeping stuff clean.
They have a private bath that you could book. We tried it, and it was cozy.
They provide fabric freshener in the room. I keep mentioning this with my other reviews of other hotels as well because we got smoky really badly whenever we go to a yakiniku or yakitori place. The spray does help a very tiny bit. It will still smell smoky / oily, but a bit better. Either way, the best solution to remove the smoky / oily smell is just to use a coin laundry. Read moresurprisingly spacious Japanese style self-service inn, especially the bathroom area! was big enough to fit 2 people in the shower area and had a small tub which was great for a soak after walking all day. there's also a small kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave and even a small toaster oven!
the room was also impeccably clean. bed was firm and comfy, and we had great sleep quality.
they also have a paid washer & dryer combo in the lobby area which was so handy in the Summer weather.
the Inn was only had a few floors but contains a small elevator. its also situated in a quiet neighborhood that's just a 10min walk from...

It was very new and nicely designed, with everything that you need including a microwave and Nespresso machine. The shower room was very large and had an automatic bathtub. Only 8 rooms in the entire hotel so very quiet and comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay here and would recommend. Nice quiet neighborhood with a Family Mart less than 5 min away. 10in walk to Kyoto Stn, 20min walk to the sights and shopping. Would recommend if you want something...
