We had the double bunk bed style, so two adults at the bottom, two kids at top. It was spacious with table, washer etc. Room was long and narrow but it was bigger than our room in Osaka (where we couldn’t open big luggage except on the bed).||The location was close to Kyoto station, 10 mins walking and exactly opposite to the temple. ||The hotel is strict with check in time, we were there around 2ish and couldn’t check in early though they did email in advanced to tell you this.||Something to keep in mind that Reception didn’t open until 11am so you wouldn’t be able to leave your luggage with the hotel if you want to go out early in the morning. We left luggage in the room, came back at 11.07 and housekeeping already went in to clean the room. And if you leave your luggage with the hotel, they don’t have any places to store, it would be kept near the front door. ||Overall it was good value for money. Check in process was quick, staff was courteous. I would probably find something a bit closer to the station next time as it was still a far bit of walk to...
Read moreWalking distance to kyoto station - convenient if you will go to kyoto station a lot and visit nearby places like inari, nara, day trip to Osaka, etc...
20 min walk to nishiki market, 30 to Pontocho alley area.
Rooms are spacious and have washing machine and spin dryer (it's a 2-in-1 and dryer doesn't use heat, just spins to dry). Clothes washed at night and dried are 90-100% dry by next morning depending on material 👍.
Service desk allowed us to store our luggage before check in time while we explored the city.
Family mart (convenience store) is right around the corner. The room I stayed in had an air purifier, air conditioning, tv, fridge, sink, plates, cutlery, cups, clothing hangars and plenty of storage.
I stayed in a traditional Japanese room where the futons/bedding may harder than expected if you are used to sleeping on softer bedding.
Overall, an excellent stay and would stay again - great value and location and had all the basic amenities one...
Read moreI REALLY LOVED OUR STAY IN THIS HOTEL. If we could have stayed longer, we would. Unfortunately, our trip was cut short since our initial flight was cancelled one of our nights in this hotel was sacrificed.
I already accepted that we weren't gonna be able to refund that one night, but the owner/management was so nice and still refunded us.
ROOM WISE: IT WAS SUPER NICE. One of the best/nicest places we've stayed in. Since it was an apartment hotel, everything was inside your room. A small kitchen, a laundry area, bathroom and big and comfy beds for you to sleep in.
LOCATION WISE: Area is very quiet so you can enjoy sleeping in. 5-10mins walk from the main Kyoto station and also has near bus station (we preferred traveling via bus though).
Overall such a good stay! I can't wait to come back to book a longer stay here! Thank you so much for being so considerate! God...
