This was the best meal I’ve ever had. I could cry it was so good and I’m sad it’s over and that I don’t live here so I can have it again. Every course was outstanding! And soy butter needs to be jarred and sold in the market. I know I’ll have dreams about this meal. A few times I had to close my eyes while I ate to try to implant the memory of those tastes in my brain.

Also the have a drink the Kitty which is a Red Wine mixed with Ginger Ale 2 things I never would have thought to combine but I loved it and normally I’m not a red wine drinker and I only do so when having steak but that drink I could have any day.

The panna cotta dessert with hot tea dessert course was the perfect way to end the meal and the play on hot and cold was very satisfying and refreshing. What they managed to create with a 3 person in a tiny kitchen needs to be studied and deserved a...

By far the best dinner i've had in a long time! I did not have a reservation but arrived around 6pm where they let me know they had an opening at 7pm for 1 person. It was set courses and I chose the beef only course which was incredible. Each course was fabulous and had lots of variation such as a sandwich, beef stew, beef sushi ect as well as traditional teppanyaki style meat. A teppanyaki dinner definitely worth the price! The staff were attentive, explaining in Japanese and English each course and watching when I was done with each plate. A must...

We (a family of 3) had the most wonderful experience at musubi. The dinner consisted of a 9-course menu, prepared by the staff just in front of us. The food was delicate and exquisite, not to mention extreme kindness of the staff, who provided explanations (in english) about the different courses that were served. I have already experienced a couple of one star ranked michelin restaurants in France that are far below this one, so I hope musubi will soon have the recognition...

By far the best dinner i've had in a long time! I did not have a reservation but arrived around 6pm where they let me know they had an opening at 7pm for 1 person. It was set courses and I chose the beef only course which was incredible. Each course was fabulous and had lots of variation such as a sandwich, beef stew, beef sushi ect as well as traditional teppanyaki style meat. A teppanyaki dinner definitely worth the price! The staff were attentive, explaining in Japanese and English each course and watching when I was done with each plate. A must try in Kyoto!

Exceptional experience - the tasting menu was delicious. We particularly enjoyed the roast beef and wagyu with wasabi, soy sauce foam and garlic. They were very accommodating to us with our baby. Drinks were also delicious - fruity sake and a very nice non alcoholic plum wine. Total bill was 19,000 yen for 8 courses including a lovely chocolate and orange dessert. Highly recommend!

未来の予約困難店‼️舌と一体になるお肉とパフォーマンスは居心地よし! ここ?合ってる?開いてる? 予約したお店に着いた時、マンションの1階で入口も小さく不安になる。 中に入るとカウンターいっぱいに広がるオープンな厨房から溢れかえる熱気‼️ 「当たりだ」 食べる前からそう思うお店は、そう多くない。 赤ワイン【ウッドブリッジ】900円で乾杯。 芳醇なのに渋くなく、甘くもなく、これから出るお料理の味を引き立てるワイン。 予約していた【musubiコース】9000円をいただく。 【フォアグラローストビーフ】 木の葉の形のお皿に鎮座するお肉に巻かれたフォアグラ。 一口で思い切って食べる。 噛むと同時に溢れ出る肉汁。 そしてフォアグラのふにふにとした食感に 甘辛いソースが加わり… 口の中で溢れかえる旨味。 たまらん。 【黒毛和牛の炙り寿司】 肉が…!舌と…!一体になる! ずっと噛み締めていたい! 【しゃぶしゃぶ】 程よい食感のお肉と下に隠された小蕪。 お出汁が和のワインのように舌によこたわる。 【イセエビの鉄板焼き】 芸術的なプレート! 緑のソースは九条葱。 青く風になびく九条葱畑が思い浮かぶ。 イセエビの「コリコリ」直前の「ぷにぷに」とした食感‼️ ソースも良いがシンプルにレモンのみで頂いた方がうまい。 【サラダ】 大葉のドレッシングで。 【黒毛和牛カツサンド】 これがコースの中に入っているのは嬉しい。 パンの焼き具合が最高。 よき肉を甘辛いタレで頂く贅沢。 【黒毛和牛シャトーブリアン】+3000円 焼く前の姿を見せてくれる。 特筆すべきは銀のお猪口に入った泡醤油。 肉に乗せるとバターのようにとける。 和のバターが肉を更に香り高くし、旨みを倍増させる‼️ 【ガーリックお結び】 あまりガーリックの香りは強すぎることなく、後半はお出汁をかけて頂く。 この手の料理はお出汁をかけるタイミングをいつも早めが良いか悩む。 かけた方が美味しい場合と、かける前の方が美味しい場合があるからだ。 ここのは…かけた方が旨いので、早めがおすすめ。 デザート 【シフォンケーキとアイスクリーム】 紅茶パウダーをかけて。 厨房は料理人同士の阿吽の呼吸で次々と料理が作られる。 見事。 28歳のメインシェフに伝えると 「彼女らが素晴らしいので」 と返答。 最後は美味しいお店の話で盛り上がり、何軒か伝えると、きっちりメモをとっていた。 勉強家だ。 彼はまだまだ伸びる。 未来の予約困難店になるに違いない。
