Gojo Cafe — Restaurant in Kyoto

I had been in Japan for a few days and hadn't had the opportunity to have a real coffee. Only conbini drinks and auto machine ones.. Well, here she took her time to make a pour over coffee and a Pour over iced coffee, and I had mine with scone and cream cheese, and my mate had his with a matcha white chocolate cake.

Absolutely nailed the pour over. Not bitter, correct temperature, and delicous flavour.

This place is lovely. We came for a chill breakfast and coffee near our air bnb and everything about this place is charming and what we needed. We didn't stay the night here but we came for breakfast 3 times. The coffee is great and while breakfast menu has 3 simple items, they are all light and delicious. This place has a relaxing and homie environment but it dosnt have a lot of food options. There are 3 different “food” items and as someone who dosnt eat pork I only have 2 options. The people here are nice and bilingual so we could communicate easily so the only down side of this place would be the the food options.
