We stayed just one night in this hotel .. I chose it due to its proximity to the Nankai Namba station. We made the mistake of getting the JR train from Kyoto so ended up at the Umeda station in Osaka but it was no problem .. Just 5 stops on the tube and a couple of hundred metres walk and easy to find. It was tipping down so we took a taxi for just 900 yen to main shopping drag near Dotornbori but would have been easily walkable. Hotel room decent size for Japan with really useful kitchenette (so you could nip to supermarket across the street and microwave a ready meal if needed) and all usual toiletries provided. I was a bit worried as we had booked a small double but in reality bed was about same size as a standard uk double bed minus a couple of inches so no big deal for us but maybe inadequate for US visitors used to much bigger beds. All immaculately clean and front desk helpful and friendly with some English. They ordered us a taxi for 6.15am (raining solidly otherwise would have been walkable) and was 4 minutes, 750yen well spent to Nankai Namba from where it was 40 minutes and 1100 yen each on the limited rapid to the airport. Paid 8,000 yen per room (47 pounds) bed and breakfast.. Bargain even though we had to check out before breakfast which is 7 until 10 in the reception area. Wifi free and fast....
