WELLSTAY難波 — Hotel in Osaka

My friends and I stayed at WellStay Namba for a few days, and we had a great time. There were four of us, so we got a room with two bunk beds. While the room was a bit tight, we managed to make it work, and it actually gave me some nostalgic dorm-room vibes from my college days, which was fun! The hotel provides free washers and a dryer for ·100 per 30 minutes. The dryer wasn't super effective, so we had to double the drying time, but it wasn't a big deal. The location is fantastic-within walking distance of Dotonbori, Namba Park, and Shinsekai Market. It's close enough that asking for a taxi might feel a bit silly, but it's super convenient for exploring on foot. Overall, my Osaka experience was amazing, and I would definitely stay here again. A special shoutout to Yano, who was incredibly helpful and made my stay even better....

Mostly our stay was disappointing because we had booked a room with a double/large bed through Agoda and it was confirmed by the property that we could have that, but when we got there they put us in a room with bunk beds and the staff was rude and wouldn’t correct the error or explain sufficiently why we were not given a large bed. This was the last night of our trip as a couple so it really stank and put a bad taste in our mouth. But oh well. Other than that everything was okay and it was good value as it’s a relatively good location near many tourist attractions. Room was very small but functional. This hotel has a very “self serve” vibe which is probably how it can be pretty cheap. Don’t expect any service really but it’s a decent...

I stayed at this hotel with a small group in September and I was really impressed! Great price for a nice and modern looking location in Osaka. You can quickly reach the train station or hotspots. The four-person room was a bit small but large enough by Japanese standards and the shower was really big. I especially liked the service with free drinks in the afternoon and evening! The only drawback: the pillows are very hard (but I asked the really friendly staff and was given a small soft pillow, which helped a lot!). Great service, highly recommended! It was my favourite hotel on our trip, keep up...
