Update Mars 2025 : The gourmet was excellent
My friends and I were looking for something quick to eat when we stumbled upon a newly opened spot in Osaka. To our surprise, it serves the same popular French Tacos you’d find and love in France!
Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by two French staff members who spoke fluent French and English. They explained the concept to us, and we couldn’t wait to dig in.
The portions were identical to those in France, and the cheese sauce was homemade absolutely delicious! We opted for the set menu, which included fries and a drink, and were pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was given the generous size.
The fries were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing.
Another highlight is that the meat is Halal, making it a great option for people with dietary restrictions.
I haven’t come across any other shops offering authentic French Tacos anywhere in Japan, so this place is truly one of a kind.
I highly recommend Adlon French Tacos to anyone looking for a unique and satisfying meal.

Read moreI have no idea what French tacos are, but the owner was so friendly and said it won’t be as a normal tacos I have in mind. I ordered a set of spicy paprika tacos with Dr. Pepper (it was my first can too). They serve the French fries directly on the paper sheet on the tray, superb! It’s fun to make it your own way of potatoes and ketchup! My first impression was; it’s a big heavy boy! Inside there’s another layer of potatoes. The seasoning of the chicken was good but I do hope they have some vegetables in the tacos. The fries were good, proper seasoning and it’s crispy. A lot of foreigners were coming to this restaurant. They have the dining space upstairs but it was a bit small. I hope business like this strive and can expand their store. Overall, it was a very fulfilling meal. Read moreC’était troppp bien!!! We went as a family after a day exploring osaka and wanting a good halal hearty meal. We found this restaurant and were intrigued by french tacos, especially in japan. We were not disappointed. The food was so delicious, but more importantly, the owners were such kind people. They gave us free drinks, helped us find a place to pray and showed us where the closest mosque was. We had left the building and were across the street when one of the owners ran out with two umbrellas as they realised it had started spitting down with rain. They let us keep the umbrellas which were much needed for our trip back to kyoto. Such thoughtful and generous souls, we appreciate their kindness so much. What brilliant service and humanity, especially for such a new establishment. Praying for its success 🤲 -...
