Stayed here as a family of four (two children, 8 and 10) in the grand family room. The room was very spacious (it fits 7 persons) and clean. You can tell that it opened a few months back. Kitchen was usefull and came with the basic necessities, a fridge and microwave. You can make your own meals should you want to. Wasmachine was very handy and came with drying function. The room also has an iron and vacuum cleaner. Amenities like tea, toothbrush, razor (cream), cotton sets, hair brush, washing liquid are all readily available at the reception. You can take what you need. The beds are hard. We liked it but one should take that into consideration. Staff is friendly and polite. On the day of checkout they helped us get a taxi (uber) to our next destination. Just a few steps away from the apartment is a 7-11. It’s 10-15 minute walk to Namba station. About 10 minutes walk to nearest metro station Daikokucho on the Midosuji line. |There were also some things we liked less. Little natural light, the windows are a kind of milky glass and the building is surrounded by other buildings. The windows can open a little bit but do not expect much of view. No coffee provided. You can hear outside noise especially at night. Also you can hear some footsteps from the floor above. So if you are sensitive to noise, keep this in mind. |All in all, we would definitely consider...
Read moreWe checked in late, but the process went smoothly thanks to the amazing staffs who were incredibly kind and helpful in guiding us to local attractions to visit the next days. One of the most heartwarming experiences occurred when I accidentally left behind a book and photo I had purchased from the Osaka Museum at a nearby shopping mall. The mall closed at 9 PM and reopened at 11 AM, and since it was our last day in Osaka, I had no time to retrieve it. After a day of exploring, we returned to the hotel late at night. To my surprise, Mr. Nann Wai, one of the hotel staff, went above and beyond. He took the initiative to visit the shopping mall during his lunch break to retrieve my book for me. If it weren't for his thoughtful action, I wouldn’t have had the chance to get back my cherished items. I truly appreciate his exceptional service! We will definitely return to stay at this hotel. The room was spacious enough for our family of four, including kids , and we were grateful for the washing machine with a dryer, which made it easy to do laundry during our stay.Additionally, another staff member named Su was incredibly friendly. She welcomed our children with chocolates and water, and even took a picture with us, making our experience even more special.Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we look forward to coming back and will recommend this...
Read moreThis is a great hotel in a convenient location. The staff are polite, professional and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and having a washer/dryer in the room is a MAJOR selling point for a family traveling. And the hotel provides laundry detergent (just pick it up at the front desk). The hotel is on a quiet street but in a busy neighborhood, so you can get a good nights rests while still being close to many stores and restaurants. There is a convenience store just steps from the hotel and two grocery stores just down the street a couple of blocks (to the left as you exit the hotel). Also, from the front door of the hotel you can literally see the entrance to the Namba Yasaka Jinja shrine. The only down side to the hotel is the lack of any real windows in the rooms. The side windows in our room opened up the side of the building next to the hotel and the main windows (the diagonal ones) are frosted so you can't see through them. Maybe this was done because this is a residential neighborhood and the locals didn't want tourist seeing into their homes. Who knows, but a functional window would improve this place in a big way. We would definitely stay here...
