OYO 644 Hotel Art Inn Namba — Hotel in Osaka

Very good and very quiet central location for everything you need in namba to make it great trip only couple mins walk dotonbori and the glico man sign and ranges of variety and food shops with in a minute or two talk with 7/11 across the road and vending machines outside the door make this a perfect spot for accomdation.||Easy checkin experience,room was decently sized for one person which to me what the size of a pub room back home.comfortable bed with your usual amenties provided fridge and hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom.nice cold air con in the room too.a bathrobe supplied instead of pyjamas which was abit odd wearing it so just boycotted that idea|Nice hot shower but even be sure to keep the door close when you get out straight away as a couple times the steam set off the firealarm which is badly located right above entrance basically so gotta open window and windmill a towel around incase.|Room kept clean but only noticed on 2nd /3rd night the magnet on door asking for room clean as i assumed it was done daily from the reviews when booking so gotta put the magnet up to ensure you get your daily clean.|Laundry is only about 100metre or so walk to your right up over the bridge of the street on the corner for your washing as the hotel dont provide that.||Trainstation only 30 second walk away from your front door which makes life easier for...

Stayed for 4 nights. Really enjoyed the hospitality here. Staff had good command of English and were very helpful. Liked the free snacks, juices and even beer(on some days) from 4 -11 pm .Had stayed at another more prominent hotel in Namba in June this year. Paid more then & when I compare the 2 hotels, Art Inn wins hands down. This is also nearer to JR Namba station. Loved the potato salad served during breakfast. ||The following are directions for those coming from JR Namba station without having to climb or go down stairs. ||Take escalator going to ground level of north exit , on the left, after coming out of JR Namba station. Turn right once at ground level & keep walking till first lane (You will pass Hotel Kanede). Cross the lane & continue straight till crossing on main road (yodabashi road). Cross it & continue to cross another 2 more roads till u reach Family mart on the right hand side. Continue straight until u pass exit 7 of Namba Walk (on your left). Make a left turn & cross the main road using the traffic lights. Once you’ve crossed the road, continue straight & you’ll pass Lawson store on the right. The location is great! Just a block away from Dotonbori where all the food and shopping area is located at. Easy access when your departing to the airport, Osaka station is just 5 mins away from the hotel.

The rooms were very small, our luggages took mostly all the floor space. So unpacking was a bit of a pain. I Like how there was room service, no charge There is no laundry service so if you need to do laundry there is a laundromat a few blocks away. Which they could provide you a map. No Pocket wifi was included. Had to get a pocket wifi at the airport before arriving. But there is complimentary wifi at the hotel. Breakfast was included but basic, I really enjoyed the potatoe salad. There is a seven eleven store right outside the hotel which I enjoyed going to every single day we were there. Before leaving, you would have to give your room key to the front desk at all times and inform them your room number when coming back. I guess cause it’s security measure.
