Seiryu Tsutenkaku — Hotel in Osaka

It was a good stay with families of 5 for 10 days. We booked 2 rooms and had requested for the rooms on the same floor, unfortunately, our request was not fulfilled. However, in one of the rooms with 3 occupants, they prepared cleaned sheets, towels and toiletries. It was great 👍🏼. Bear in mind, there’s no housekeeping service available as this is not a hotel. Cleanliness is 7/10 as we found some dust under the tv table, some hair under quilt cover and improper cleaning of the sink tap area. Let us breakdown the pros and cons of the stay.

Pros : newly renovated rooms toiletries and towels provided there’s kettle, hairdryer and cups in the rooms in room slippers and shoe horn are provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash provided great location with JR, NANKAI and subways nearby direct access from Kansai Airport via NANKAI line stops at Shin Imamiya station (on NANKAI line) nearby convenience stores and Don Quijote. available public parking nearby washing machine and dryer are available but no iron a rod in the shower room to dry your clothes with “air dry” function safe

Cons : Extremely small toilet 🚽. Good for small size and thin people Tub in the shower area. The shower head holders are wrongly placed, not in the middle which makes the shower spray in the inconvenience direction Cleanliness is average Rooms are actually quite small. Location - approximately 8- 10 minutes walk from airport express station Shin Imamiya. We took nankai limited express and arrived at shin immamiya in 45 minutes from kansai airport. Shin immamiya has 3 different lines. Apartment is A 5 minutes walk to Dobutsuen Mae Station which has another 2 lines. If you are planning to visit out of Osaka besides the city, the train options are plenty from here. Namba is a 2 station ride away. Aquarium is a 4 station ride away with 1 transfer.

Some food options and also a huge Donki supermarket within 5 minutes. I visited Donki everyday of my 1 week stay.

Room- there's a queen sized bed and also a sofa bed. If you wish to use the sofa bed, maybe gotta ask for bedsheets. Bath and toilet bowls were separated which we thought a good design. Shower pressure is superb, much better than some 5 star hotels. Condition of the toilets were new, well designed. Huge fridge with a big freezer section. We bought some takeaways to eat in the room. There were plates and cutlery provided. There's a coin operated laundromat within 2 minutes.

Self check in 1500 and check out 1000. Timing is strict.

Super convenient location and very suitable for families! We stayed with my family of 4 + grandparents so we split 3-3 in each room. Each room had 2 single bed with mattress and also a sofa bed that pulls out to form a bed. My younger child slept perfectly on the sofa bed while my older child took a few nights of getting used to. The room is clean and you can collect fresh towels daily on the ground floor and also provides a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. They also give you a comb, cotton buds and pads and also disposable slippers. Check in and check out process was extremely straight forward. There’s also a coin laundry washing machine and separate dryer too! You can purchase the detergent easily at the Mega Don Quijote store just a few minutes away. There’s also a balcony if you would like to use it, a fridge and a microwave too! Stove is also available for use with 2x plates, 2x bowls, 2x spoons and forks and a chopping board with knife and scissors. The location is super convenient as it’s only located within minutes to a number of transportation lines. Highly recommend and will...
