The location is unbeatable, multiple convenience stores around, 7-10min walk to Dotonburi and various stations, lots of restaurants and quiet streets at night time. The hotel also has a cafeteria with free tea, water, melon soda, coca cola and other refreshments that are available 24/7.The room itself is simple but very comfortable and has everything you could need. Rooms are cleaned daily and amenities replenished too, even if you opt out of cleaning by sticking a "Do not clean" magnet on the door, they then put everything in a bag and hang it on the handle. The staff is mostly professional, speak decent English and the check-in/out process was easy. Where it loses points is due to the following:On one of our big days out exploring, we came back to the hotel at around 8PM. The Front Lobby was filled with a big and disorganised Chinese group/family of 12-16 people who were scattered throughout the lobby. They did not all have a hotel key card, I know this because there was an employee by the escalator using his key on the elevator to send up them to their rooms. So my girlfriend and I got our keys out, got to the front of the other elevator and showed our cards as a way of gesturing if we could go up. The employee rejected us and we got the idea that we had to wait. Now I don't know about you, but I don't see why I need to wait for something that isn't my problem. Their lobby was littered and the tourists were being loud and screaming at eachother from across the room. We were not going to wait. Line them up in front of one elevator and use the other one for people who are entering and exiting, and if no one is entering and exiting, then let them use both elevators. Such unprofessionalism. We decided to leave and go for a walk and kill time at the local convienience store, but it definitely ruined our day and experience with the hotel.Another reason is I asked if they could make a restaurant reservation on my behalf, the bird cafe that I wanted to go to had a registration and booking process that was not friendly for tourists. It required me to write my Japanese Name for some reason, as well as phone number. The hotel said they could not make such reservations for me. I ended up walking in and was lucky it was a weekday and it wasn't as packed. Also be sure to check how many adults is listed on the room you plan to book, I didn't check properly and mine said 1 Adult, even though it fits 2 and the amenities were stocked for 2, this mistake of mine cost me 14,000yen (2000yen a day) because I had my...

We loved the location of this hotel as we were surrounded by metro line choices and proximity to both Osaka and Shin-Osaka train station (2 and 4 stops away respectively). It matched up with our itinerary as we made Osaka our base for exploring and went to Universal Studios, Kyoto and Nara for day trips and it all seemed relatively convenient from here.||When we arrived our room was ready and they allowed us to check in 30 minutes early. The hotel has some extra toiletries in the lobby but the room was pretty well equipped. The lobby area also has a restaurant that serves both an affordable ramen dinner and a buffet breakfast. The breakfast is absolutely worth it here and if you don't book it with your stay, it is a steal at 1200 yen per adult. The breakfast has a good combination of gyoza dumplings, chicken dishes, tempura, Japanese soups and a salad station. The lobby restaurant also has a refreshment station where you can get coffee, water, green tea or pop 24/7.||The room was very comfy and quiet and was a little bit bigger than most rooms we stayed in. We got a good night's rest here and felt ready to explore each day. The bathroom was a bit small and my head was nearly hitting the ceiling in the shower but great pressure and easily adjustable temperature. The toiletries provided were good quality too. The room had a kettle, mini fridge, large TV, an air purifier and a work station.||The hotel is very close to Dotonbori area but far enough away that it is quiet. The whole area outside is a little messy with many tourists leaving their garbage wherever. We were here during the Japanese New Year celebrations so many restaurants were closed but there were still plenty of...

Upon check-in, I was asked to pay Y400 tax, but my other friends were not charged. I tried to ask why, but it's either they don't understand my question or they just don't care. Some of my friends were moved to the annex while some of us stayed on the old side. I'm not sure why, but the annex was far much better service, a better lobby, better coffee, and I think better security as well. I booked a single standard room, which is around P1,500 difference (from the total for 4N) from my friends who booked for twin rooms. Typical Japanese standard - nice bathroom with tub and Japanese toilet. Bed and pillow hard, and the bedsheets could use more tread count. Full amenities include an air purifier. What I really like is you control your own AC temp (some hotels just turn on their heater and no AC) since weather outside drops to 2 degrees C at night but I still prefer to set it myself. We booked breakfast and well we had better with other hotels. Housekeeping is done daily unless specified by guests. The best feature is the hotel distance from dotonbori and shinsaibashi + convenience stores around and EON supermarket, which is 24 hrs open, just a block away. It's one hotel I will consider booking again.

The hotel offers quite competitive price in the area, about 6 minutes walk to Nagahoribashi station and about 11 minutes walk to Shinsaibashi station, also within 10 minutes walk to the shopping street. Hotel staffs are extremely nice and helpful, and is able to communicate via simple English. Big lounge with microwave is provided and free drinks are available 24 hours. The room is small but cozy, the only downside is the toilet could use a bit more height (my head hitting the ceiling if i were to stand and take shower), and could do with a small single sofa so both person have a chair to sit (currently only 1 chair inside. And the dryer at L1 doesn't really dry the clothes... Overall a good hotel.

Great central hotel for discovering Osaka. Small rooms but clean, quiet, and great for a restful night sleep. Hotel reception friendly and professional. Our room was serviced and cleaned every day. Our stay came with complimentary breakfast. If this is an option, get it! Large array of foods, which set you up for a great day.
