I have mixed reviews with this hotel, starting with the PROS:|1. Location is good, close to dotonbori, shinsaibashi and kuromon market. Family mart just beside the hotel.|2. New hotel so rooms are modern and clean|3. Bathroom is of decent size|4. Enough wall outlet to charge gadgets, there is even one beside the bed.|5. Wifi is fast||Now for the CONS:|1. First and Major concern is the bed. This will be the worst bed i’ve stayed in by far. Bed and Pillows are so uncomfortable i keep waking up at night for the duration of my 5 nights stay. ||2 Room is tight, there is no space to put your luggage if you have a trunk style luggage. It doesnt fit under the bed||3. They don’t give complimentary water (first time ever to encounter this in any hotel across asia)||4. Cleaners- i believe are outsourced, they do not do there job well. There was a time our bed was not made, on another day, our glasses were left unwashed with used drip coffee still on the cup. Things aren’t put back in place either. Overall i think they rush cleaning. ||5. They only provide 1 key card. (Also the first I have encountered) ||6. There are only 2 elevators so expect to wait esp on check out time||So will i come back to this hotel? Probably yes if the price is cheap, but will also compare with other hotels nearby. Since location is the only biggest advantage i see...

We visited 5 cities stayed in 5 hotels....and regardless of how busy the hotel or how packed their schedule, the staff in the other 4 hotels has always tried to accommodate n present their Japanese hospitality standardsBut this hotel is really horrendous....especially one of the male staff. Cold face, anti-tourist and on our checkout day, only allow us to leave 1 luggage each at the hotel after we checkout. We hv a total of 14 luggage amongst 7 persons; and if we were to do so, we have to drag 1 luggage each to walk around town until we leave for the airport at 5pm.He was totally nonchalant about our plea and just bluntly tell us to do as he "instructed". This is obnoxious, to say the least for a member of the hospitality industry. This male staff to be removed from his position to maintain the reputation of the hotel & Japan.Another young lady, by the name of Oi, was very professional & nice to overruled the male staff decision and accommodated us. Pleasant smile & good service attitude. She deserves a promotion. The only reason I gave 2/5 for service is solely because of her. Without her,...
