IORI TAKAYAMA — Hotel in Takayama

So thrilled to have made the decision to book this beautiful little and 100 odd year property via Airbnb.

A warm welcome and friendly check in made for the ideal start.

I was taking through the accommodation, shown the key things along with some suggestions of places to eat in Takayama itself.

There are some very handy guides at your disposal for dining and sightseeing.

The hotel itself is beautifully traditional with modern touches. There is a stunning outdoor onsen style bath and onsen bath powder is supplied. So relaxing.

Location is excellent - a few minutes walk from the Old Town, Takayama Jinya and around 15 minutes from the station.

This is an amazing place to stay in Takayama. The house is in a great location to explore during day and night on foot. The property has everything you need, was gorgeous inside and out and the hot tub and wetroom made the stay very special.
