Asakusa Condominium Eight — Hotel in Tokyo

Great family hotel apartments. Ideal location, barely 15 mins walk to the local Asakusa station. Nice and quiet area but still reasonably close to Familymarts and a few supermarkets.

Rooms are fairly spacious for Tokyo and have all the amenities you need including a fully functional kitchen. Also, for larger families there are two toilets and bedding for up to 8 people (4 single bunks and 2 double beds).

Possibly the strangest part of our stay was that we did not meet anyone the whole time including during checkin and checkout. While this is more efficient, it also makes it feel less personable, but this is only a minor thing. During our stay the room also wasn't cleaned or serviced, but this is also a minor thing since we didn't need any cleaning, etc.

This condo was great, but the walk from the nearest subway is 7 minutes (very hot in summer), the grocery store is about 4 or so minutes away. It is in surrounded by apartment buildings and office buildings. Nowhere really close to get a coffee in the morning. We had a bedroom with two beds and two bunk beds for total 6 people, the apartment has 2 bathrooms but kinda small and a shower room.

A TV, fridge and washing machine are available to use, to enter the building you need a code and you need a code to enter the apartment.
