Hotel Karuta — Hotel in Tokyo

This place I booked thru Chase Travel first off check in is at 9PM which is weird to most of us . Anyway as On the morning of my checkout we were few minutes late getting down and was ordered to pay a 3500 30 min fee from the front desk girls threatening us with police if we didn’t when we asked why is the case we had to pay that. As a diplomat who’s traveled the world and been to many places I’ve never encountered a more hostile front desk staff like these girls my partner tried to coach them that isn’t good customer service and to not treat people and speak to them that way if I had the time I would’ve waited for the police but BEWARE...

予約なしで伺いましたが、通常7,800円のところ、半額の3,900円でお部屋をお借りすることができました。

予約なしの場合はタッチパネルから選ぶシステムです。ビジネスホテルのように、受付・チェックイン・チェックアウト・支払いは対面で行います。 (コロナウイルス感染症防止対策のため、アクリル板が設置されています)

受付は、浴衣の制服を着用された男性スタッフが2名おり、うち1名は電話対応に追われてました。

チェックインが終わったら、エントランスに無料貸し出しゲームやシャンプー・コンディショナーなどの各種アメニティーや浴衣を選ぶことができます。(選ばなくても良し)

お部屋に入ると、日本っぽい琴や尺八の音色のBGMが流れています。和風をイメージしたコンセプトのインテリアは、女性ウケ・外国人観光客ウケは抜群でしょう。 ルームキーはウッドが使用されていたり、スリッパは畳素材で作られていたり、、、細かいところまでコンセプトに対するこだわりを感じられました。

壁紙(ベッドルーム・バスルーム・トイレ)や天井は和風の花柄で、インスタ映えするので、女子会等にもおすすめですね。 (定員人数が2名以上で使える部屋もあるそうです。403号室については、定員2名)

洗面室のアメニティーも和風なデザインのPOLAの化粧水・クレンジング・洗顔フォーム・ボディーローション等がありました。 ラブホテルはよく、洗面周りに髪の毛一本程度落ちてることがありますが、こちらは髪の毛一本も落ちていませんでした。

覚えている範囲ですが、電子レンジ・ミニ冷蔵庫・ドライヤー・ストレートアイロン・ボディータオル・バスタオル・フェイスタオル・歯ブラシ・歯磨き用コップ・コンタクトレンズ洗浄液・生理用ナプキン・おりものシート・浴衣・ファブリーズ(みたいなもの)・無料ミネラルウォーター・コンドーム×2・ローションがありました。

ラブホテルじゃないかのようなホテルなので、とても居心地が良く、泊まりたくなるような良い雰囲気です。

廊下で従業員の方にすれ違った際も、従業員の方がお辞儀をしてくださいました。(ラブホテルでは珍しいと思います笑)

しいて一つだけガッカリした点といえば、受付の後方にのれんだけで仕切られたスタッフルームが見えたのですが、Amazonの箱や事務用品やスタッフの私物か分かりませんがリュックみたいな物などが見えていて、折角美しいホテルなのに、ムードが無くなるなぁと感じました。
