Just to briefly summarize what I wrote above… Pros the quality of the food was great Reasonable price range
Cons Poor service. I am certainly not expecting a top-notch service, but just a decent level, however unfortunately overall service didn’t meet the bar. That being said, it happens often and I wasn’t particularly unhappy about it until this unbelievable scene happened to us. One of the waiter / waitress drop the entire charcoals and griddle while bringing those to one of the table (and yes, as you can imagine, those are extremely hot). As charcoals were dropped, they were broken into pieces and flying to all over the place, including to our table, which could have attacked us physically. Thank god, they landed under our table and chairs, not on us, so we didn’t get burned, but it was quite frightening to even picture what might have happened. But, there is more to this. What surprised us more was how they dealt with this. They just started cleaning up, didn’t even bother to ask us or anyone nearby if we were ok or didn’t get burn or anything, if any, I was only asked to move my legs so that they can clean up the charcoals….. We were just simply shocked, it is not about language capability or being a waiter or not. The normal response to this situation would be to ask surroundings if they didn’t get hurt. Also, I do think they should have 1 person that can speak local language, Japanese at decent conversational level, no need to be native or anything, but at least can hold a normal conversation given it is a customer...
Read moreThe service was very bad. They kicked us out after just an hour, even though we were still ordering drinks and eating quite a lot. We spent over 15,000 yen in less than an hour. They told us to leave because other customers were waiting, but they never mentioned any time limit when we arrived. To make things worse, they placed the bill on our table before an hour had even passed—right after we had just ordered another beer—and told us to...

Very good experience here tonight. We used to come here before the renovation. We liked the gritty Korean BBQ of old, but really like the upgrades. The vegetable set, which includes two meats and two side dishes, was really good.
Service was friendly. Restaurant is...
