Location: 4 minutes from Akasaka station or 8 minutes from Tameike-Sanno station in the vibrant Akasaka area in central Tokyo.

Food: it is a soba noodle restaurant where droves of local office workers flock to lunch, which is sure proof that the food is good, as well as served in generous portions.

Atmosphere: a typical noodle restaurant that, fortunately, remains stuck in the 20th century: clean, tidy, dimly lit for added cosiness, walls covered with pine wood boards with menus pinned all over them, a TV displaying baseball games, bottles of sake atop the cupboards, a poster of "Ken the survivor" on the window , etc.

Food: a large variety of udon and soba noodles served with a bowl of excellent spicy sauce, and accompanied with the usual tray of condiments. Meat options but also vegan options are available.

Staff: the lady of the house manages her team efficiently, and diners won't wait long before their order lands on the counter.

ランチに初来店。 メニューを見ながら、そばの種類・冷か熱か・量を伝え、「後、どんぶりの…」と言いかけたところで「セットならセットって先に行ってください」と怒られる。謝りつつどんぶりを頼もうとしたら、隣の客の注文を取る始末。 そもそも、メニューに「ランチセットの時は最初にセットと伝えてください」なんて書いてない。おしぼりも出てこない。生卵と天かすが無料って事もメニューを読まなきゃ分からない。 なんて不親切な店なんだろう。 後に来た男性のお客さんが最初に「セットで」って言わずにそばの後にどんぶり注文しても注意無し。 女性客だからって下に見てるんですか？

他の人のレビュー見たらみんな女性店員のこと書いてますね。こんだけ書かれても改善しないって逆にすごい。常連さんにはとても親切な対応してました。
