Last Desember, I visited this place. Honestly I was just searching for a quick lunch with my friend the first time. We didn't even know if this ramen tasted good/not. But fortunately, it was. Idk about other reviewer but I liked the ramen I ordered. Creamy Tonkotsu (2C). It tasted good, even if not on extreme level. But truthfully, I WOULD visit this shop again, if I got the chance. Besides the price was ok to me.
I also went there again on other days with my niece & nephew . They also liked the noodles. Karabon 4C. The soup was according to them so-so but still tasty on the deliciousness bar. That was quite a thing cause the twins were picky!!
The inside atmpsphere was quite good (not loud!). Staffs were friendly enough, and they got English menu to help you decide. You needed to pay with card though. I used my ICOCA/Suika Train card which I had top up beforehand om the train station. (Thank God for that! Or I won't be able to pay. They don't accept cash I think). Cold water was free & already on the table, together with the usual ramen seasonings. Others you needed to order.
The shop itself was very small and kind of on the tiny side. But because we visited early, there were still available seats. But if you came at peak hour / when it was full, you would find yourself waiting outside, standing!
It made me wish they got a bench/chair outside for waiting customer. Then they wouldn't be too tired waiting.
Overall good impression & within walking distance to Hotel Mystays Akasaka Premier & the Akasaka Train Station (which last time I saw, had some Harry Potter...

Visited: July 14th 2025 Order: Vegan Ramen with Vegan Chashu and Garlic Oil (1700円), Aji-Tama (120円), Non-vegan Kaedama (150円)
Food: Soup was aromatic, not too strong, no distinct flavors, lots of garlic oil noodles were quite thin, ordered the "normal" style those were a perfect mix between chewy and tender toppings included woodear mushroom, cooked cabbage, thinly sliced menma, scallions, and one small sheet of nori, nothing out of the ordinary, nothing spectacular egg (aji-tama) was definitely the highlight, very flavorful and with a creamy yolk egg is made using katsuo so NOT VEGETARIAN vegan chashu were pieces of seitan some of them had some charring marks, however they were quite soggy and didn't taste like much could not make out any difference between the vegan noodles that came with the soup and the non-vegan ones from kaedama
Service: friendly and fast, atmosphere was nice shop is very small VISA accepted
Verdict: If you are a vegan or vegetarian in Tokyo, this is definitely a nice option to eat. However I would save the 300円 and order the soup without vegan chashu. As mentioned the egg is not vegetarian. Vegan kaedame is 200円 instead of 150円
Rating system: 0⭐️terrible, nobody should eat this 1⭐️ disappointing but edible 2⭐️ fine, nothing special, works if there are no other options 3⭐️quite tasty, might visit again 4⭐️ delicious, visit was worth it 5⭐️ amazing, will/would eat...
Read moreThis is my number 1 Ramen place in Japan. I go here almost every night. The broth of the ramen is thick and full of flavor. I love their half cooked eggs, they just fit really well with the ramen. I always bring my friends here. I always order the meat ramen with thick broth and of course with half cooked egg. In terms of the environment, it's perfect for me since it's just along the way and easy to spot. I was lucky because it's near my place. I also order another set of noodles since their broth is just so good, wanting me to add more noodles. Their noodles are superb too! Sometimes, I order rice and I just mix it with the broth. They have spices available on the table too. While writing this review, I brings memory of me and my friends. After work, I walk there and eat. I just love it and I'm longing for it. I can't wait to go back in the future and eat here again. I hope by that time, I can still see the front guy who always serves me with a smile. I'm not sure if I can remember him myself but they have an amazing crew. I love this place. Very well...
