The rooms in this hotel are tiny. There is no wardrobe, only a small bar on the wall from which hang 8 coathangers. The bathroom is so small it’s a little difficult to move in – the toilet is set on an angle so you can sit on it without banging your knees on the wall and the toilet-paper holder! Nevertheless, the room boasts a TV, a safe, a small fridge, pairs of cups, glasses etc. Facilities were very clean, and toiletries were available in the bathroom, as well as downstairs at reception. Interestingly, only two teabags were provided, and we did not find out how to get more. ||We stayed for a week, and we were told at check-in that the cleaning staff would only come in once. We were given the option to select the day. ||The staff were super polite, friendly and helpful. They took phone messages for us and allowed us to use the telephone at the front desk at no extra cost. An iron and ironing board were provided on request.||They have facilities to store baggage if you arrive prior to check-in time (3pm) or leave after check-out time (10am).||The hotel is only a few blocks from Gotanda Station – a very convenient short walk. Read moreExtremely poor customer services, I made the group reservation, we paid the full paymnet at front of the counter and end up they keep asking for other amount and saying we didn't make the payment and I checked all my emails which I do not have any booking services with other [Gotanda hotel. even i do not have any booking references and cancelled references number by this hotel] and all the email proofs I made the gotanda station, as a customer, I really feel bad that how your hotel made the wrong references and put me in charges] Even is a very short walking distance inbetween JR to the hotel, but with the poor and unclear customer services or poor communication services, I will not stay in this hotel anymore to avoid all the extra charges and unnecessary mis-communication back and forward. Read moreWe stayed for 6 days and had the best experience. The front desk staff were so helpful and endeavoured to help with our every request. Even the strange ones like translating our jelly bean flavours at 10pm at night when we got back to the hotel. The hotel was super close to the Gotanda train station and we used it to catch trains easily to Disneyland, Disneysea, Kyoto and Osaka along with Shibuya and other places around Tokyo. That being said the best experience came after we left, when they emailed me within hours of check out saying that I had left my wallet. Unfortunately I had already left the area so couldn’t return to pick it up. But thanks to some further amazing customer service it has already been shipped back to me internationally.
