Tsukiji Station — Local services in Tokyo

The world famous fish market! There are 2 bathrooms, one at each end of the street (inside the fish market building on your right at the beginning of the street, and then inside the food court building on your left at the far end). When you buy and sample all the delicious food, pass your garbage back to the sales person and they will take it for you).

Fresh fish, octopus, squid, wagyu beef, even some veggies and fruit...all mixed together with sights and sounds and views that are so incredibly different from the rest of Tokyo. It feels like a throwback to the days of old.

Free to walk around. Decently priced fish products, especially when you watch the 1,000 pound tuna fish being cut up in front of you, and your 2,000 yen sample pack is prepared in front of you (that's inside the food court building at the far end)

As a passenger you feel safe, everyone is polite, there are no loud noises or disturbing smells. The metro staff help elderly people on wheelchairs, including putting down a ramp to help them board.
