ゆけむり山荘 — Hotel in Yufu

Now this is more like a Yufuin worthy of an Onsen which Yufuin is known for. We stayed here on our second night and this place is definitely nothing compared to the first place we stayed on our first night. The only challenging it might seem to some is the location but I still would give it a 5 because the view of this place is really a treat, especially when one uses the onsen. But have no fear because there is a pick up service and the hotel driver (forgive me I forgot his name) is very professional and efficient and he can speak and understand English too. Pick up service is only until 6:30pm so make sure to inform front desk or Mr. Driver when and where to be picked up. The rooms are clean and spacious with toilet and shower rooms, toillettries are provided for, and it even has an enclosed balcony which one can enjoy the view from inside. Rooms are provided with small fridge, airpot, hair dryer, tv, and tea sets. It even has an air purifier. At the entrance, there is a lounge and dining area as well and it even has a fire place. There is a coffee machine and water dispenser which one can enjoy at no additional cost. The Onsen are separate for each gender. Although it is for public use but it seemed like it was a private onsen at the time of use since we were the only ones using it. Breakfast is inclusive in our booking so will see how it is tomorrow morning. So all in all for a rate of about $154/night it definitely...

Err hello? This is one of the best boutique hotels I’ve ever been to. The staff were just amazingly nice, given me the full Japanese hospitality treatment. Limitless alcohol and drinks plus donuts in the morning for no extra charge.Facilities are well-kept and clean. The onsite onsen is top quality. If you are visiting Yufuin with a car, I cannot recommend this place enough. The front reception was honestly the most friendly host you can ever asked for.
