Booked room over the long weekends. Perfect location for me as a non-driver in malaysia. Quiet and way from the bustling city area even though the hotel is near the highway. There isnt any food choices except for the bal kut teh or indian stall located at Level 1. Near the area are housing estate and you will need to book Grab to travel to another location, 7mins to southkey, 10mins about there to City Square. I love the washroom, huge and free massage from the rainshower located a the top of the ceiling. (becos its very high so yups.) 3 storey building, lift provided, ample parking lots, 24hr security, will book again for sure if they keep up to standard and maintenance. Room is spacious but no security box, provide toothbrush kit and shower cap and room slippers, air con not so cold as the air flow seems to be blowing to one location and not really circulating the entire room, comfortable bed and pillow, clean prefer to do late check in so housekeeper will have ample time to touch up the room. Mineral water provided, shower gel smells so good!!!!!!! Spent a good amount of time in the shower. Overall great place to stay in as at June 2025, my room is 120 and yes occasional karaoke sounds can be heard and so is the people walking and talking along the corridor. Same pple do not have basic manners or courtesy and they are loud, but if im tired of cos I will fall asleep very soon.

Extremely scary and personal experience - The hotel should seriously address safety concerns, as the connecting door can be opened from the other side. We were startled awake at 12 AM when the door was opened from the next room and then slammed shut by Indonesian. We immediately called the front desk (Tikah), who sent the supervisor (Lava) to assist. However, Lava couldn’t find a key to lock the door, leaving us to sleep in fear. No explanation or alternative solution was provided. This was a terrifying and disappointing experience. The hotel should install a latch on the connecting door to prevent this issue. Definitely not recommended, and we will not be returning. Very disappointed!!! ***** Thank you for your reply, Hako Hotel. While I’m not entirely sure why the door between rooms 137 and 139 was open, I’ll leave it in your capable hands to figure that out. Initially, I thought it was just a bad dream. However, after reviewing the photo I took, it seems that the chair I placed next to the door was moved, and the two pieces of tissue on the floor were blown away. These details have certainly convinced me that my experience was, in fact, very real!!!

I'm not sure why this hotel has a 4-star rating. The welcome experience was bad; only one receptionist was doing check-ins during a public holiday peak hour (2-3pm). There was no smile, greeting, or even a thank you. (But I can understand if she was just too tired to handle the queue alone). Throughout the check-in process, she was just busy chatting with her colleague. On top of that, I still can’t understand why a well-established hotel still collects a deposit when it doesn't even provide a minibar or room service. The worst thing is that only cash payments are allowed in this high-tech era. The location is bad; there are no amenities. It feels like staying beside the highway, and it's only good if you enjoy looking at the causeway jam. The room is not clean and rundown. The sound insulation is poor too; I can easily hear what the next door is talking about, and even when they stir coffee, I can hear it too. I can easily hear the lobby music from my room. I guess the only good thing is that the lobby design is quite nice and the bed is quite comfy. I will not recommend it to anyone. You can find many other better offers at this price.

i was highly impressed when i stayed in hao hotel at skudai, but this one is a disappointment. firstly, the location.. it looks near to the custom but yet not walkable and if you get a grab, it has to go one big round and passing by all the jams… it is v hard to get a grab to go to the hotel.. there are also no minimart or eateries nearby… the room… the air in the room was old and musky.. it feels lk the carpet has not been washed or vacuum for awhile. at night, we keep hearing the traffic noise, water dripping into drain from the toilet, door opening and closing… the toilet, the towels are old and yellow, one of it even has stain and we used it without realizing…. then the hair dryer was spoil, call the recep and the reply was that they know abt it and were in process of procuring, however now they do not have any portable one to lend and there was nothing they can do to help me… lastly is the service, we were locked out of our room for the 2nd night because they say that we did not check out after 1st night and so we had to pay for extension, and this was due to us booking under 2 diff name for each night, which we had it sorted out when we checked in on the 1st day. and then the maddening part was after we explain to the reception that her colleague informed us all was settled during check in, the receptionist still insist it was our fault for not checking out! after we insist that we will not pay for extension because we have already made a booking for the night, the receptionist then unwillingly (with a black face) process our key and 2nd checkin to let us enter our room. To make matters worse, we walked into our room that has not been cleaned in the day, the dirty towels are still lying on the floor. This whole experience with Hako JBCC is horrendous. i will definitely will not recommend this hotel...
