Check In : 22.09.2025|Check Out : 25.09.2025|Room : 4404 (Studio Twin Bed - Skyline View)||Location : The hotel is located in Jalan Binjai KL which is basically at the heart of CBD. It is a 2 mins walk from LRT Ampang Park (direct no-change train to KLCC and KL Sentral) and also 2 mins walk to MRT Persiaran KLCC (direct no-change train to TRX). If humidity is not a problem, it is within an easy walk to KLCC and all the nice bars around the area. The only downside is, the area has lack of affordable food unless if you count the food trucks. But since I come for work trip, I cant go to foodtruck since it does not provide a receipt. But there are many convenience stores around the area though. Day and night, the area is safe for walk.||Lobby : The lobby is located in level 40 of the Ilham tower. I made a mistake of entering the building from Ilham Tower signage so the lift to lobby is somewhat hidden from my point of entry. The lift is fast. The lobby is small but neat. I like the ceiling white clear decor. The sitting area also is put nicely. The view from lobby area is amazing. It overlooks KLCC and KL Tower area. The cleanliness is spotless. Just 5 secs walk away, there is the restaurant and bar area. I love the ambiance from up there.||Room : Since I booked a city skyline view, I was expecting to get a higher floor than level 44, because as I can see, the overall level is 53. But never mind on that though. The room is spacious and it smells really nice - kudos to housekeeping team for that. The beds are really comfy and the view is amazing from up there. I love the small kitchenette area. Fridge, AC, tap, water tap, all are working well. Wardrobe does not provide any bathrobe. But upon one single call, I get the bathrobe in less than 3 mins of waiting. The mattresses and pillows are super comfy. Bathroom is big and spotless. The only thing I found "mildly disturbing" is the mirror doubled as the bathroom door and it has no lock. Other than that, all are super okay.||Facility : Lift, super quick. I like the swimming pool in level 39. It is an indoor heated pool with all day long warm water. So when I decided to kebaaboosh into the inviting pool at 9pm, I still feel super warm. But the washroom to shower is a bit of a walk the other end. I ended up wetting the floor on my way there. The pool is medium size, good for swimming and leisure and the view is amazing. I didnt try the gym but it has a nice city view. The hotel is disable friendly. ||Breakfast : The buffet is served at Trace, just in front of the lobby. The area is spacious and the view is amazing as expected. The DIY sandwich is my go to area for the whole 3 days. It also has generous selection of fresh fruits, cheese and salad. The omelette section is manned by a nice guy who love his job and wholeheartedly remember (if I am right) every returning guests. By the second day when I was queuing, he warmly said "Morning, as usual? 2 sets of omelettes, put everything except cheese?". We strike a light conversation while his masterful hands stroke the eggs like a pro. The only thing that "shocked" me is the juice. I believe it should be diluted a little bit more. Thru my 3 days, I taste the juice to be extremely thick and sweet.||Sleep Quality : 10/10. Not a single sound can be heard from next door or vehicles below. Coupled with comfy beds, excellent.||Overall : I love my stay here. All staffs went above and beyond to enlighten my stay here. I cannot pinpoint which is the best as they are all just as amazing. I feel that their warmth are a really great pull to me coming back in the future. I will totally recommend this to anyone. Kudos to...
Read moreGreat new hotel that is located in central KLCC, near Intercon and minutes walk from the twin tower. Although there are some construction going on surrounding the area.
What I like about this hotel is the high rise, so your room will have a pretty good view. The 1st floor is adjoined with office tower so you go up to level 40 for lobby and restaurant, level 39 is gym unfortunately it was closed when I was there so didnt check it out.
The room is simple, light and spacious. Great walking wardrobe with standard amenities like ironing board, iron, hair dryer. The bed is of course by Westin Heavenly Bed as Elements is a baby brother of Westin. The work desk is good, simple and clean with not so much clutter. There is a small kitchen area but no stove only on the higher studio and 1 microwave and also minibar that is empty as you need to order what you need from the room service (though I didnt recall seeing any mini bar menu I can choose from. The hotel doesn’t provide bottled water which is good to save environment, though I’m a bit skeptic so instead the sink has built in 3M water filter system which I did drink for the last 3 days and I didn’t have any issue at all. But otherwise you can ordered bottled water if you need chargeable. The hotel is about a year old, it was supposed to be residential but converted into hotel mid way. Though new, there are small defects, paints and chips that I feel can be retouched to make the product more refined. But service is great, the front desk called in to check after 10 minutes I enter the room if everything is ok and if I needed any help.
One thing that was weird, I usually keep my towels and dont need to wash them when I’m staying for 3 days. So I did my hanging towels neatly and didn’t put on the floor. On the first and second day, they changed all of my towels and also my barely used soap was replaced, so was amenities that I feel can still be use for another day. In fact on the second day, they left the soap and added another,.... soap. I guess staff training is needed, as in their card they say they will only replace when towels are on the floor.
Another feat, is the water pressure and the hot water system, the rain shower is for me just a gimmick does not provide a good pressure to the usual pressure I enjoyed in many hotels, the water temperature tends to go up and down between cold and sudden hot, I think they have small tank or just need a cycle in between. The soaps and lotion by the way are non chemical which is great, the soap and shampoo is provided in a dispenser, which I feel is more of like Ibis approach?
The switches and multi electric plug in the room helps, note there is only one International plug by the desk, the rest is Malaysian standard plug which you need a converter. By the bed there is a USB port which provides a good charging speed.
They only have one restaurant and no bar, I only did in-room dining which the kwey tiao was fantastic and had it for 2 days straight. The breakfast menu is fair, but not overly the top for me but they did offer fresh press juice that you can mix and match, a menu may help to guide diners. The restaurant being on level 40, has a great sweeping view of the city, you can actually see the tip of twin tower and also the newly build second tallest building in KL - the signature tower which is actually almost completed.
All and all it was a good stay, I had a good sleep and enjoyed the convenient of the location. So, yes I...
Read moreStayed here for about 2 months and this is my honest review.
Element seems to be a decent place to stay for a short amount of time because of it’s space and premium feel of the high-rise floor. However, we highly do not recommend to those that wish to stay here for a long period of time especially since their staffs and managers were unhelpful. It will be very inconvenient when you run into a problem.
Here’s why:
Pros: Stunning view from the lobby, restaurant & room. Room was very spacious and bathroom felt premium. Housekeepers cleaned & replenished the room properly. Friendly & polite security guard making you feel welcomed. Great location, 5 minutes walk to KLCC & 20 minutes to Pavilion. Easy to find Grab/In-Driver. TV, bathtub, sofa, and bed were great.
Cons: Staffs were not welcoming. Receptionists were unhelpful, vague & confused in certain areas such as wifi issue, laundry tokens & room stays. On most days, food was average. On some days, food was terrible. Room service was cold & unpleasant especially for the price that they charge. Staffs were irresponsible: Did not keep track of the complimentary laundry tokens that come together with the long-term stay arrangement. When requested, we were asked to pay. Wrong order for room-service. Waited almost an hour (way pass dinner-time) just to get the right order. We understand that mistakes happen but asking us to send the wrong food back to their kitchen was unnecessary. We never got the food we ordered during breakfast even after informing.
Unprofessional (night) manager: After about 5 weeks of our stay, we decided to finally inform the manager regarding the issues and flaws. Reason being, we felt like our money was not worth spending there anymore. The manager asked personal questions. They were two of us and the manager assumed that one of us does not stay at the hotel- which is furthest from the truth. Both of us stayed at the hotel from day one until the end. When mentioned regarding the token, the manager made irrelevant excuses. Unnecessary jokes during meeting when the tone set by us was serious. Gave excuses for us to not leave a review on Trip Advisor when we mentioned that we would like to do so.
Door handle was broken. Closet doors were stuck. Water filter was loose. The elevator was not functioning and we had to take the stairs to different floor.
It is frustrating knowing that we never got any compensation for the hotel’s flaws and mistakes despite being their 2-month guests. It personally felt like the hotel does not appreciates...
