The lady captain kept rushing us to place order before we even looked through the menu. We ordered 3 plates of prawn cheongfun, she told us one of them had to be changed to chicken cheongfun as they have run out of prawn cheongfun, so we said OK. However, in the end they came with 3 prawn cheongfun and 1 chicken cheongfun. We then politely said no to the chicken cheongfun as we only ordered 3 plates of cheongfun and only said yes to the chicken cheongfun because she told us there's no more prawn cheongfun. She then reacted in the most ridiculously rude way, accusing us of canceling the chicken cheongfun after it has been served. On the way to make payment, we spotted a cockroach crawling on the next table touching almost all the cutleries there. We then reported to one of the waiters but nobody came and changed them. Upon making payment, we complained to the supervisor about the lady captain & the cockroach. To our surprise, this so-called supervisor just completely ignored our complaint and did not even apologise. This is the most unpleasant dining experience we ever had in KL. The food is not even that good / cheap. We'll never...
Read moreThe halal Dimsum restaurant was just beside my hotel stay at Element Kuala Lumpur. The entrance was behind Perdana Hotel, by the right side at the 2nd level. Its on Ramadan month so it is important to reserve seats and order in advance. Whatsapps Miss Teh to request for menu and menu with photos to choose my dishes. She was able to comply with no hassle. Very fast responsiveness and friendly too. When I reached, the hot dishes were already served on the table. It was great that it came right on time to break my fast. The main dishes and dim sums were all tasty and the portions were generous too. The service was prompt. I also ordered the Chrysanthemum teapot so they continously checked on my pot to refill the hot water and pour it for me if my glass was found empty. This is what I ordered :-
Nestled within an office building, Minmax might be easy to miss at first glance. But what it lacks in visibility, it more than makes up for in flavor and charm. Parking was readily available, and upon entering, I was surprised by the vibrant buzz – this Halal Chinese restaurant was clearly a local favorite.
We were promptly seated at a round table, offering a delightful view of the city street below. The rotating table proved exceptionally handy as we embarked on a culinary adventure, ordering an abundance of tempting dishes. Each arrival was a visual feast – golden butter prawns, fluffy fried rice, and an assortment of beautifully crafted dim sum. Every bite was a delicious explosion, making for a truly satisfying and generous lunch.
The service was equally impressive. Our cups were never empty, as staff diligently kept the tea flowing. Every request was met promptly, and the overall table setting exuded comfort and warmth. In short, Minmax provided a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, exceeding expectations in...
