We had a great time on the boat, the snorkelling trip, and the view was amazing. We checked in on Thursday, and we felt like having the resort to our own. The resort became busier on Friday & Saturday.||2. Booking, checking in & out was quick and hassle-free.||3. The resort is near to the jetty; therefore, we did not have to walk very far.||4. The quality of the food was above average. Foods were cooked deliciously. The buffet choice was plenty, considering the COVID-19 pandemic.||5. The resort facilities, however, could use several improvements:|| 1. The room should be maintained regularly. The management cannot depend on complaints from the guests alone. Have a regular inspection and repair program.|| 2. Housekeeping is basic. Toiletries (shampoo) still contains Methylparaben.|| 3. The bathroom is huge, it should have a physical separation between the shower area 7 the toilet to avoid the bathroom floor from getting wet.|| 4. The hot water is only available during the day when solar power is abundant.|| 5. There were no TV channels. After some troubleshooting, we still got no TV, and we were advised to change our suite. At the new suite, we still got no TV. Then the staff at the Reception explained that the antenna was struck by lightning. The staff could have been truthful in the first place.|| 6. We noticed some rubbish was left at a spot without proper disposal. We also saw a giant lizard rummaging the trash. This poses a health & safety hazard.||6. Compliance to COVID-19 SOP:|| 1. No temperature screening equipment.|| 2. Staffs were not wearing face masks/face shields at any time we were there.|| 3. No movement control/physical distancing during the breakfast buffet. The staff must take proactive controls; they cannot depend on the guests because they were hungry.||||This resort is a best-seller, but please proceed...
Read moreSuch a beautiful, calm & wonderful place. We truly enjoyed our stay here.
The resort has it's own jetty so it's very accessible & easy upon arrival. No issues if you're bringing luggages instead of only bagpacks.
Upon arrival, the employees are very helpful & attentive. Especially that one Indian uncle! Thank you so much! Really appreciate him helping us with our bags. He helped bring it to our rooms as it's quite far from the receptionist. He also served us welcome drinks, so refreshing.
Please tip him if you guys are able to for your visit! 💓
The receptionist & dining hall are clean. There's lots of water fountain all around the resort so the water sounds at all times are super comforting. Amazing view from the dining area. There's lots of mini gazebo seats available so you could choose wherever you prefer.
The Coral Beach is just behind the receptionist area. Just a short walk & you can watch pretty sunsets here every evening, we did it when the weather was great & it was lovely.
The rooms are spacious. The beds, pillows & blankets are very comfy.
🚩 Only issue that we had was during our checkout day. The resort turned off the water so there's no water available in our bathroom from 10am onwards. Alerted their employees a few times, but nothing happened. No early info was given beforehand. We know that it's a normal practice for small chalets or accommodations in islands to do this (turn off electricity & water), but it seems unacceptable for a resort like this to have the same practice.
The food selections were THE BEST. Especially for breakfast! Please try their roti canai, omelette & porridge! I had it everyday while I was there it was sooo gooddd. Quite hesitant to try at first, didn't expect it would be that tasty.
Normal taste for bbq selections. Great lunch & dinner menu.
We spent the best time there. Definitely...
Read moreI was on a trip with my friends and my girlfriend, we booked hotels for 4 days and 3 nights.
First off, I want to say that to whom it may concern reading this, think twice before staying here. It was NOT a pleasant experience for us.
The rooms are very old, dirty, eerie and lacks amenities. The room is very old designs similar-ish to 90s houses, the floors of the room was cracked and creaking, room was dusty, and there are molds on the walls nearby your closet. The room lacks sunlight and also lacks lighting with broken lights. They don't provide hair dryers, toothbrush and all sorts except bath towels. And the most disturbing part was the fact that there are ants and bedbugs all over the bed, me and my partner couldn't sleep in sleep over the facts that we kept getting bitten by these insects.
For the staffs, we asked the staffs at the reception for a bed sheet change, and so they said 'okay, we will change it soon'. After coming back from the swim, we went to check the room. The room was tidy and neat again, but the sheets were still the same except it was tidied. You may ask how I know, before I asked for a change of bed sheet, there was a small tear on the sheets and so I remembered to see if it was changed or not later. To my surprise, no. They didn't change it but rather tidied up the room and pretend like it was changed, we felt very upset.
For the food itself, It was acceptable for me but for my friend who ate it afterwards, felt very unwell and was vomiting and having a fever, which later on happened to my partner as well.
As for the location, it was not a bad spot, it had a nice private beach.
Overall, it will NOT be worth the money. Because you will end up spending money going to the hospital or clinic for your own health or anyone under your...
