Brilliant Hotel — Hotel in Malacca

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over the Chinese New Year weekend recently. Had booked via a popular travel website. The hotel provides good value for money. But the main problem is its location. Our taxi driver had a hard time locating the hotel as its in a newly developing area of melaka. Its also 20 min walk to the main attractions near Jonker Street. The rooms themselves are quite compact with standard fittings including air con and tv with hot water facility in the bathroom. The lack of English channels on TV was disappointing. The people manning the desk were fairly helpful with directions and tips on places to see. We nearly missed our return bus back to Singapore with the taxi driver having a hard time negotiating the traffic en route to the hotel. There are a few dining options nearby..donald & lily restaurant had some nice local cuisine. It consider as new area. Around that area you actually have plenty choice of hotels. But it is not walking distance to jonker walk. We have chose the hotel simply because we want to avoid the jam along the way to jonker walk. ||The ladyboss is very helpful which she will shows you the shortest way to jonker walk (without traffic jam). It will pass through Eye of Malaysia which already being moved. Very very convenient.||Everything is above our expectation. We stayed in a standard room which costs MYR98 only. But the room is spacious and clean, with TV, wardrobe, dressing table. Mineral water and 2 sachets of coffee provided in your room. One more surprise came from the reading space provided by the hotel, it's common area just outside our room. ||Overall, this hotel is worth for money! Highly recommed for those who owns...

I will select zero star if possible. We met bed mites again... This is our second time in hotel. Over the whole body was bite by bed mites... Have to rush to pharmacy get suitable medical cream to solve the swollen and extremely itching bitted area.||||They just chance the bed sheet, and spray lots of mosquito killer spray on the mattress, imagine you gonna sleep on these insecticide spray later, if you stay in this family room next time.||||Poor mobile network for...
